Ashley Hansen, the Global Press Secretary & Head of Communications for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex is launching her own public relations firm, Three Gate Strategies, and she’s taking the Royals with her.

Hansen has been the Global Press Secretary & Head of Communications for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Archewell for more than two years. She will continue to represent and advise The Duke and Duchess, whilst providing oversight to their international communications team. Hansen will continue to amplify the vital causes and endeavors undertaken by the couple, in addition to repping their new business ventures and creative projects.

We hear that the Duke and Duchess fully support Hansen’s new venture. It came about after she was approached by other clients seeking the high-quality counsel she had provided to the Sussexes. Three Gate Strategies now becomes part of a portfolio of female-led enterprises and new business ventures...

Ncuti Gatwa’s first series of Doctor Who is almost here – and to remind us of this, the BBC have released a full trailer.

If there’s one thing to take away from the trailer for the new series, it is this – Russell T Davies is putting every penny of the higher budget up on the screen.

With the premiere of Ncuti Gatwa’s debut series just weeks away, the marketing campaign is beginning to ramp up. First, we got the welcome news that former showrunner and Doctor Who’s most prolific writer Steven Moffat has penned an episode for the new series, which is described as “Hitchcockian” in tone. Mary McCormack is joining the fray inside the ring: The Kids Are Alright and In Plain Sight actress has boarded Starz’s wrestling drama Heels.

McCormack will play Willie, the business partner of wrestler Jack Spade (Arrow’s Stephen Amell) and the brains behind the local wrestling organization. The cast also includes Alexander Ludwig (Vikings), Chris Bauer (The Deuce), Allen Maldonado (black-ish), Kelli Berglund (Now Apocalypse) and NFL vet James Harrison.

HBO Max has unveiled the full cast for Equal, its upcoming four-part docuseries chronicling landmark events and the forgotten heroes of the LGBTQ+ movement, from Greg Berlanti’s Berlanti Productions, Jim Parsons and That’s Wonderful Productions, Scout Productions, Jon Jashni (Lost in Space) and Warner Horizon Unscripted Television.

Samira Wiley, Cheyenne Jackson, Anthony Rapp, Sara Gilbert, Shannon Purser, Heather Matarazzo, Jamie Clayton, Isis King, Gale Harold, are among the cast members who will portray the Lbgtq+ visionaries in the docuseries that contains never-before-seen archival footage. HBO Max has commissioned a four-part docuseries on the history of the Lgbtq+ movement.

Titled “Equal,” the series will explore the true stories of leaders and activists of the movement. Each hour-long episode will feature interviews, reenactments, and never before seen footage. The series hails from Warner Horizon Unscripted Television.

“We are extremely proud to partner with these groundbreaking producers on a subject this important, at a time this critical,” said Mike Darnell, president of unscripted and alternative television at Warner Bros. “What a perfect project to launch Warner Horizon Unscripted Television’s new documentary series unit.”

Among those who will be profiled in the series are: Harry Hay, a gay rights activist and the founder of the modern gay movement; The Daughters of Bilitis, a lesbian civil and political rights organization; Christine Jorgensen, a transgender woman who flew to Europe in 1951 to undergo sex reassignment surgery and publicly transitioned...

HBO Max has picked up a four-part docuseries about the forgotten leaders of the Lgbtq rights movement from executive producers Greg Berlanti and Jim Parsons, the streaming service announced Wednesday.

Titled “Equal,” the four-part series will document the “gripping and true backstories of the leaders and unsung heroes, pre-Stonewall, who changed the course of American history through their tireless activism,” using both documentary footage and “high-end re-enactments,” according to HBO Max’s description of the show.

Subjects tackled on the show will include gay rights activist Harry Hay; lesbian civil rights group Daughters of Bilitis; Christine Jorgensen, a transgender woman who flew to Europe to publicly transition in 1951; and gay rights and African American rights leader Bayard Rustin. The final episode will center on the Stonewall Riots and the first Pride event the following year.

"The Temperamentals" the critically acclaimed and award-winning play by Jon Marans ,Off Broadway at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street) will close on May 30th. Whatever you think of Milk, there’s no denying that the Oscar-nominated biopic is putting a long-overdue spotlight on the life of Harvey Milk, allowing much of the mainstream audience to learn about his singular achievements for the very first time.

But why stop there? Now that Milk has proven that stirring gay life stories can appeal to more than just a gay audience, Hollywood should think about making movies about the following legends. We’ll even help them decide which to make first by throwing in a rating of 1-5 Harveys for each story’s eventual Oscar bait-ability. That should help land some big name stars.
