Over the weekend, Kate Hudson performed at the Bottleneck Music Festival in Napa, California, and received a host of disappointed reviews.

Hudson, who is the daughter of Goldie Hawn and Bill Hudson – as well as the stepdaughter of Kurt Russel – rocked out to her own songs and covers on stage while sporting a white lace dress with batwing sleeves and a chunky belt. Throughout the set, Hudson occasionally donned a pair of blue-lensed sunglasses.

Hudson was accompanied on stage by a six-member band. She told the audience, “We’re whippin’ through this set; I’m on a timer and everything! It’s so exciting!”

Those present were not impressed, with one person commenting, “It’s a No for me. That’s screaming, not singing,” and another writing, “Righteous Nepo of Goldie and Kurt.”

Jeff Margolis, a prolific TV producer and director whose roster of credits stretching back to the 1970s includes nearly every major awards show and dozens of live events, specials and variety shows, died today in Nashville, Tennessee. He was 78.

His death was confirmed by the Screen Actors Guild Awards Committee and the Directors Guild of America. No cause of death was given.

“Jeff Margolis created some of the most unforgettable moments in awards show history, and we are grateful that the Screen Actors Guild Awards was among them. For over 16 years, Jeff helped shape the telecast into a celebration worthy of the actors it honors. We are profoundly grateful for his contributions and will miss him dearly,” the SAG Awards Committee said in a statement.

Then again, When Calls the Heart is not a sci-fi series or a soap opera, so weren’t likely to bring Jack from the dead.

However, Hargraves’s appearance made it seem important. He also insinuated that Nathan couldn’t measure up to the hero that Jack was, which was what Nathan often feared.

This created a natural conflict instead of a contrived one.

Curious Caterer is one of the big fan favorite movie series on Hallmark Channel.

The film franchise, which stars Andrew Walker and Nikki DeLoach, has spawned five movies thus far.

In the series, which premiered on Hallmark Mysteries and Movies in 2022, Goldy Berry (DeLoach), a single mom and caterer from a small town in Colorado, and Tom Schultz (Walker), investigate a series of mysterious murders — most of which are related to food. The franchise is inspired by the Goldy Bear mysteries book series by author Diane Mott Davidson.
