On July 1, Tudum hosted an exclusive watch party for Season 2 of the dating experiment –– now streaming on Netflix. Fans watched the eighth episode of the new season before it debuted on July 2, to check in with the six new couples risking it all for a shot at marital bliss. Hosted by JoAnna Garcia Swisher, The Ultimatum: Queer Love Season 2 has now come to an end, as the couples (and some exes) reunited for the first time since the finale to reflect on their journey of intense self-discovery and connection.

But the story didn’t end there, as fans at the virtual event were treated to an early look at some juicy deleted scenes featuring Magan, Dayna, Pilar, Aj, Britney, and more from the season, which you can watch below.

Season 2 of Netflix’s queer dating experiment premiered Wednesday and introduced six couples at a crossroads: marriage or breakup. In order to discover if their love is strong enough to fight for, each couple will “break up,” find a new love connection and live with their new partner before ultimately deciding if their original partner is the one.

Hosted by actress and businesswoman JoAnna Garcia Swisher, “The Ultimatum: Queer Love” Season 2 will take the couples on a wild ride that could end in their happily ever after.

The first seven episodes of “The Ultimatum: Queer Love” premiered on Wednesday on Netflix, and the final three episodes will premiere on Wednesday, July 2.

Jessica Callahan, the VP of Programming, stated, “Providence Falls is a beautiful and heartfelt tale of love and redemption. As a longtime admirer of Jude Deveraux’s writing, I recognized the need to adapt this as soon as Joanna proposed it.”

Netflix has revealed the fate of one of its popular romance dramas almost three months after its season 4 finale. Get ready to pour it out and head back to Serenity. The Sweet Magnolias are coming back for season 5!

The streamer shared the news on World Book Day, which is fitting as the show is based on the novel series by author Sherryl Woods. Per a press release, Sweet Mags season 4 ranked in Netflix's Top 10 list in over 60 countries worldwide where the platform is available. This most likely contributed to the streaming service's decision to renew it. Even though the viewership numbers initially did come in on the lower end. The fifth season will be a total of 10 episodes.

Carson Rowland's Ty played a significantly reduced role in Sweet Magnolias Season 4, moving from a series regular to a recurring character who popped up only a handful of times. 

Rowland's TV teen had been a part of the romantic drama since the beginning, being the eldest son of JoAnna Garcia Swisher's Maddie Townsend. 

Ty had seen some crucial story beats flow through him over the series' first three seasons, including the drama surrounding his high school baseball career, his ongoing romantic pursuits, and the ups and downs of being a child of divorce.

In its first three days of release during the week of Feb. 3-Feb. 9, Sweet Magnolias season 4 (which premiered on Feb. 6) brought in 4 million views globally, which translates to 33.7 million hours viewed. The series ranked in fourth place for the week behind The Night Agent season 2, The Recruit season 2, and American Manhunt: O.J. Simpson.

However, it was more than that. Helen seemed happier as she chased her dreams and realized she still loved Erik.

The season finale of any captivating series is usually the most exhilarating one, but it is often equally devastating as it comes with the realization that the agony of having to patiently wait for the story to continue is back again. It doesn’t get easier, no matter how many seasons a series already has, and one of Netflix’s most beloved romance series is the ultimate proof of that.

Virgin River, which has rapidly become a romance staple on the streaming platform and is seemingly here to stay, was first released in 2019 and already consists of six thrilling seasons. Luckily enough, it has been renewed for a seventh season. However, with the release date still unknown, it is high time to find another feel-good romance series on Netflix.

This season of Sweet Magnolias focused a lot on Maddie Townsend (Joanna Garcia Swisher). Maddie and Cal had a Halloween-themed wedding and then dealt with her ex-husband’s death shortly after.

Through it all, the Townsend-Maddox family dealt with it together. This was also the first season the series explored more career options for Maddie.

Therefore, we were eager to chat with Joanna Garcia Swisher since she teased that this was her favorite season. As always, it was enjoyable talking to her as she talked about her love of Sweet Magnolias Season 4 and her pride in her TV children.

Following the ceremony, Helen and Dana Sue are understandably shocked and hurt that they were left in the dark about Maddie’s wedding plans. Maddie pulls them both aside, and they seem to be all good at the moment, but we’ll see if that remains true once the celebration ends.
