Leo was considered the master of the prepared harmonica, forming his own harmonica trio, "The Solidaires." The group appeared in films during the 1940's, playing themselves. In the 1950's Leo went solo and produced a number of recordings as well as writing a number of songs, "The Girls of Brazil," and more.
