There may be trouble in "Paradise," but that's just how we like it. The hit Hulu series (created by "This Is Us" showrunner Dan Fogelman) landed on the streamer in 2025 to positive reviews and much buzz, quickly making a case for itself as one of James Marsden's best TV shows ever. The "X-Men" alum plays slain U.S. President Cal Bradford, whose sudden death sends Secret Service agent Xavier Collins (Sterling K. Brown) on a winding mystery through a post-apocalyptic America.
Along the way, Xavier comes across hidden clues, government secrets, and deep state conspiracies, all hallmarks of a story rooted in a subgenre that is perhaps the guiltiest of pleasures -- the speculative political thriller. Stories under this umbrella can just as easily be titillating, smartly written, and dramatically engrossing as they are oblivious, self-important, and totally ridiculous. Sometimes, a story can be all these things at once,...

Netflix viewers are urging science fiction fans to watch one of the streamer’s most underrated shows. The series, which boasts a perfect score of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, is titled Pantheon, and tackles issues such as death, the overreach of technology, and what it means to be human. The animated series has tragically flown under the radar since it began back in 2022, but now, fans of the sci-fi drama are pushing to raise the profile of Pantheon, taking to social media to persuade streamers to add the series to their lists.
X/Twitter user @JasonKPargin started the push, saying, “Go watch Pantheon, the best show on streaming that nobody knows about.” Fellow user and fan @Jimbo_Zen was glad to see the show getting some attention, adding, “Yes! Glad some people are beginning to become aware of this show.”

The following contains spoilers for "Invincible" season 3, episode 7.
For a whole season, Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun) has been fighting with his self-control following the events of "Invincible" season 2. This week, those horrors finally came back to haunt him in the form of a villain he'd thought he'd put down permanently. (That's what happens when you're one of the strongest characters in the "Invincible" universe.)
While it initially appeared as though Cecil (Walton Goggins) had been spying on Mark and his family earlier this season, we soon discovered that the real observer was none other than that dimension-hopping supervillain, Angstrom Levy (Sterling K. Brown), who's once again gunning for Invincible -- this time with an army of Mark variants from different realities. Honestly? It's a solid plan, given Mark's current headspace. What's really impressive, though, is how Levy even managed to put this diabolical scheme of his into action.

We know, we're surprised too. Like many fans of the "Invincible" comics, we took one look at the snaggle-faced, dead-eyed Viltrumite enforcer Conquest and thought, "Jonathan Banks, your time has come." Imagine our surprise, then, when we tuned in for the penultimate episode of the "Invincible" TV show's third season, only to hear the voice of Mike Ehrmantraut coming out of a good guy fighting in the Invincible War instead.
Titled "What Have I Done?" (fittingly enough), the episode sees Cecil (Walton Goggins) calling in help from around the globe to fight the twisted Invincible variants knocking at the doorstep. While they're out and about flipping the joint that is planet Earth, the Director of the Global Defense Agency is shown talking to Brit, a brand new hero to the "Invincible" show, but a legend in the bloody and often bizarro comics...

The Invincible series continues to grow in scope and scale, many are wondering if more spin-offs like Invincible Presents: Atom Eve could be in the works.
Robert Kirkman, the creator of Invincible, has expressed enthusiasm for exploring more stories within this universe. However, there are currently no confirmed plans for additional spin-offs. “We’d love to,” Kirkman said, “but right now, our main focus is making sure the seasons come out as regularly as possible.”
We’d love to. There’s plenty of potential to dig into the backstories of different characters, but right now, our main focus is making sure the seasons come out regularly as possible and we haven’t had many opportunities to indulge in any distractions. Prime Video has decided to cancel The Sticky, a heist comedy series that premiered on the streaming platform back in December with six episodes. The reason behind this decision hasn’t officially been stated, but per Deadline, it is likely due to a kind of viewership that wasn’t strong enough to warrant a renewal. This cancelation is surprising, considering The Sticky has an 80% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and received good reviews from both critics and audiences.
The series follows the story of Ruth Landry, a maple syrup farmer in Canada, who teams up with a mobster and a security guard to exact revenge on the authorities who threaten to take away her land. The official synopsis reads:
“The Sticky follows Ruth Landry, a tough, middle-aged maple syrup farmer who turns to crime when the bureaucratic authorities threaten to take away everything she loves. She teams up with the hot-tempered Bostonian mobster,...

Prime Video is pulling the plug on The Sticky, a heist comedy series inspired by true events. The news comes less than three months after the six-episode show's streaming premiere on Prime Video in December.
Per Deadline,The Sticky has officially been canceled after one season. The decision is likely due to the show failing to draw the high levels of viewership that the streaming platform had been hoping for. Its reception was fairly strong, as it has a score of 80% on Rotten Tomatoes. There was no mention in the report of the show getting shopped elsewhere for a potential continuation, making it seem more likely than not that this is the end of the line for The Sticky.

Exclusive: Prime Video has opted not to renew The Sticky for a second season. The news comes more than two months after the six-episode first season of the Canadian comedy, starring Margo Martindale, Chris Diamantopoulos and Guillaume Cyr and guest starring Jamie Lee Curts, was released on Dec. 6.
Like another recently canceled Prime Video freshman comedy series, The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh, The Sticky could not break through and draw wide enough audience despite solid reviews (80% on Rotten Tomatoes). Comedies take longer than dramas to, um, stick, which could explain why streamers are doing fewer half-hour shows and why those shows have a generally higher cancellation rate after a single season.
The Sticky, produced by Blumhouse Television, Curtis’ Comet Pictures, Jonathan Levine’s Megamix and Sphere Media, was inspired by a real-life heist that made global headlines in 2012, which saw more than $18 million worth of maple syrup stolen from Quebec’s national reserves.

We got big reveals and new relationships blooming last week in Invincible. Luckily, the writers get to write a more personal struggle for Mark and his team in “This Was Supposed to Be Easy,” while bringing back a Season 1 frenemy. The return of Titan is a big deal for the ground-level exploration of this world, and helps expand the lore of the gangsters in the city.
Invincible – “This Was Supposed to Be Easy” – The Recap
Titan (Todd Williams) prepares for work and walks his daughter to school. His neighborhood looks exceptionally well-kept, and the neighbors show respect to Titan as he walks down the road. He’s interrupted by Isotope (Chris Diamantopoulos), who tells Titan there’s a problem.
At the prison, Multi-Paul (Simu Liu) creates dozens of copies of himself to break his cell door. Many of his copies are crushed to death as he continues to create his copies,...

Quick Links'Invincible's Is One of Prime Video's Biggest HitsThe 'Guarding the Globe Comic' Why 'Guarding the Globe' Is a No-Brainer Spin-off
Once again proving itself as the best adult animated series on TV in 2025, Invincible's third season introduced several changes during its February 6 premiere. For instance, a year-long jump occurred between seasons, with young superhero Mark Grayson, aka Invincible (Steven Yeun), turning 19. Also donning a new blue superhero suit, Mark has more heroic responsibilities as he leaves adolescence behind and enters adulthood.
Although Prime Video has already renewed Invincible for a fourth season, it's a matter of time before Robert Kirkman's rich source material and countless comic sequels and spin-offs are adapted to television. Given what has transpired in Invincible thus far, the most obvious example is Guarding the Globe, a spin-off that has already been touched on in the main series. Could Prime Video be prepping an official Invincible spin-off?...

Editor's Note: The following contains spoilers for 'Invincible' Season 3, Episode 4.Invinciblemay invoke more of a case-of-the-week style of storytelling at times, giving us a view of villains like Darkwing II (Cleveland Berto), Dr. Seismic (Chris Diamantopoulos), and Angstrom Levy (Sterling K. Brown), but it has always had one overarching narrative that ties to Mark's (Steven Yeun) journey — the war against the Viltrumites. This was the first set-up with Omni-Man's (J.K. Simmons) slaughtering of The Guardians and culminated in his battle with Mark in Season 1. This has been expanded to present us with other Viltrumites, such as General Kregg (Clancy Brown) and Anissa (Shantel VanSanten), who show us that these beings are closer to Gods than mortals.

Invincible featured some rather dark moments in its first three episodes, but the young superhero is starting to find his footing. Can Mark and Eve make an actual relationship work? Can they even survive without the help of Cecil and the Gda? “You Were My Hero” begins to answer some of these questions and opens up new ones. It also pushes us into the cosmos with a unique double episode. “You Were My Hero” combines incredible tragedy, sweet romance, and horrifying action in ways only Invincible can deliver.

Hollywood is coming for Silicon Valley, and Billy Magnussen and Sarah Goldberg are leading the charge. The two actors have been cast as the leads in AMC and AMC+'s new tech-centric drama series by writer Jonathan Glatzer. It is just one of several series aimed at dressing down the insular Northern California tech world that's being shopped and/or developed around town at the moment, but it is the first one to get greenlit so far this season.
Both Magnussen and Goldberg — perhaps most well known for their time leading the HBO series The Franchise and Barry, respectively — will play central characters in the as-yet-untitled series from the Succession and Better Call Saul writer, as it is being reported by Deadline. Mark Grayson's new blue suit is also put front and centre as is his younger brother Oliver (soon to be known as Kid Omni-Man). Atom Eve and Cecil Stedman can also be seen in action.
The animated series has a large fanbase and there's been some frustration in the past about the long wait between seasons. That looks set to change with seasons 3 and 4, with the stakes expected to be significantly higher across these next batches of episodes.

Mickey Mouse is an absolute icon, and he's practically a face we've recognized since birth, but it takes more than ink and paint to bring him to life. From Walt Disney to Bret Iwan, many talented performers stood behind the mic as Mickey, but one might be trading his mouse ears sooner than we think.
Chris Diamantopoulos is one of the current actors behind Mickey, having voiced him in Paul Rudish's Mickey Mouse series, and he just went on the record sharing his sights on a coveted role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
From Mickey to Marvel
Although this writer would chalk Ray Alwine up as the definitive Mickey, Diamantopoulos has given the mouse a much zanier flavor in recent adaptations. So, imagine the disconnect when he voiced in an interview with The Direct that he would love to replace Willem Dafoe as the next Green Goblin.

The Green Goblin is, in the eyes of many fans, Spider-Man's greatest enemy. On the big screen, he first took centre stage in 2002's Spider-Man with Willem Dafoe delivering a memorable take on the twisted Norman Osborn.
Chris Cooper briefly played the villain in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and was expected to later transform into an Ultimate-style, monstrous version of the character.
Realising it would be tough to beat what Dafoe did with the Green Goblin, Marvel Studios brought him back for the Multiversal Spider-Man: No Way Home. The actor once again stole the show and, in the process, we learned that there's no Norman on Earth-616.
Anything could change after Avengers: Secret Wars and, in an interview with The Direct, Invincible star and Mickey Mouse voice actor Chris Diamantopoulos shared his interest in playing Norman.

If Marvel can't convince Willem Dafoe to return as Green Goblin, the studio wouldn't have to leave the Disney lot to find his replacement. Chris Diamantopoulos, one of the current voice actors for Disney's Mickey Mouse, recently shared that he would love to play the Spider-Man villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
While speaking with The Direct to promote his new Prime Video series The Sticky, Diamantopoulos remarked that he "would be very good" in the MCU, since he has been a comic book fan for as long as he can remember. Spider-Man 4 is currently in development, and rumors suggest that it could feature several of Spider-Man’s iconic villains, including the Green Goblin, which has sparked mixed reactions. While these details remain unconfirmed, and there is no official plot yet, actors continue to express interest in playing the Green Goblin.

A few weeks ago, Prime Video put out all six episodes of The Sticky, a terrific comedic/crime saga starring the great Margo Martindale as Ruth Landry, a Canadian maple syrup farmer who schemes to steal millions of dollars of maple syrup (it’s loosely based on an actual heist that took place in Quebec). Her co-stars in the show include Jamie Lee Curtis (who also produced the show with Jason Blum), as well as the great Chris Diamantopoulos, who’s been in loads of stuff over the years, including The Office, Silicon Valley, the movie version of The Three Stooges (he was Moe), Red One, and much more. He’s also the official voice of Mickey Mouse for Disney, a role which has netted him two Emmy nominations.

Netflix offers a great variety of action movies which also deliver a great portion of jokes in order to balance out the high-energy chases and hectic shoot-outs. One of them is Red Notice, which stands out with a star-studded cast, and it undoubtedly leads to incredibly high expectations. Understandably so. In Red Notice, three action-movie-legends take on the world of international crimes, and the action parts definitely don't fall short.
Fast and Furious and Jumanji allrounder, Dwanye “The Rock” Johnson, is joined by Wonder Woman’s Gal Gadot, and Deadpool’s Ryan Reynolds in this action-packed movie. Yes, even Ed Sheeran, out of all people, pops in and adds his touch to the action movie. Even though Red Notice is filled with noteworthy names, critics had predominantly negative reviews, but they were definitely wrong about Netflix’s most popular movie of all time.

Invincible season 3 will feature the return of an underused season 2 character. Adapted from the Robert Kirkman comics of the same name, Invincible has a massive cast. While Mark Grayson/Invincible (Steven Yeun) is always at the forefront of the story, the superheroes, supervillains, and everyday people in his life are also vital to the overarching narrative of the Prime Video series. Invincible season 3 will keep the primary focus on Mark while also continuing to explore Cecil Stedman (Walton Goggins), Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons), Allen the Alien (Seth Rogen), and other vital characters.

Here is a factual statement for dear readers: Twelve years ago, Canada saw its biggest heist, the “Great Canadian Maple Syrup Heist.” If the name brought a hint of amusement to you, along with the usual apprehension one gets from seedy crimes like robberies, then Amazon Prime’s “The Sticky” (season 1) would be the perfect choice for you. The “Fargo”-coded dark comedy, featuring a motley crew of characters portrayed by an equally diverse cast, is maddeningly hilarious and delightfully entertaining. With half-an-hour-a-piece six episodes, the season zooms through its cold crime-drama premise with oddly fitting circumstantial humor and zany dialogues. All signs of a great dark comedy.

Invincible has quickly become one of the best TV series on Prime Video, with the superhero comic book adaptation shocking audiences with its first season before delivering another exceptional outing with its Season 2 premiere in November 2023. Now, the third season is nearly ready for release, heading to the streaming service in February 2025. Chris Diamantopoulos voices several characters in the series, such as Doc Seismic, but his most prominent part in the show comes in the form of Donald Ferguson, Cecil Stedman's (Walton Goggins) assistant. In Season 2, his character underwent quite a transformation, and according to his recent conversation with MovieWeb, we should expect more of the same in Season 3.
"I will say I love the resilience of Donald. When you meet him, he's dry as posterboard. He's middle management, right? But now there's something about this guy. And I love that still waters run deep. There's a story behind Donald...

Chris Diamantopoulos, who stars in the new Prime Video series The Sticky, is well-known for many other roles throughout his career. One of his most beloved parts is arguably from Silicon Valley, where the actor portrayed Russ Hanneman, the billionaire who "put radio on the internet." As it turns out, his rise to absurd wealth is exactly what he would want to see with a Silicon Valley spinoff.
In a conversation with MovieWeb, the actor discussed the HBO series, his character, and how a prequel to the hit show would work. "I love that my character is renowned for putting radio on the internet; that's how he became a billionaire, he put radio on the internet. It would be great to see Russ Hanneman in the early years. Who was he before he became a billionaire? How much of a dork was he that led him to become such a complete supreme royal douchebag?...

The Sticky, the six-episode Prime Video series starring Margo Martindale, is streaming now, loosely based on the true story of the Great Canadian Maple Syrup Heist. A story that's almost too wild to believe, the heist occurred from 2011 through 2012, where C$18.1 million (Usd 12.7 million) was stolen from a storage facility in Quebec. Chris Diamantopoulos, known for his work in Silicon Valley, Mrs. Davis, The Boys in the Boat, and many, many more projects, recently spoke to MovieWeb and discussed his role in the series and the actor who was initially eyed for his part as Mike Byrne.
As it turns out, Diamantopoulos wasn't initially drawn to the project, and it took a few changes before the actor was fully onboard with where The Sticky was heading. He explained, "When I read [the script], I didn't immediately jump at it, but I had an agent who stayed on this project and kept calling me about it.
