Does a parade meant to celebrate the nation truly exist if it can’t get on national broadcast TV?
Mainstream TV-news outlets seem divided over how to cover an extravagant display of military might along the streets of Washington, D.C. from the Trump administration. A June 14 parade and accompanying festivities meant to call attention to the 250th birthday of the U.S. Army will be something to see, with three kinds of helicopters; Bradley vehicles; a fireworks display; and a parachute jump by the Golden Knights demonstration team.
Some will give the event a mere nod, while others will utilize all the resources a national TV newsroom can muster.
ABC News, NBC News and CBS News are unlikely to pre-empt regular TV programming for coverage of the event, according to people familiar with their plans. ABC News plans to “cover the parade across programs and platforms, including 24/7 streaming news channel...

Fox Corporation saw higher overall revenue as a result of an advertising windfall during the Super Bowl in February coupled with higher fees charged to cable and satellite distributors for its channels, the media company revealed on Monday.
Fox earned $354 million in profit off $4.37 billion in revenue during the company’s fiscal third quarter (Q3) of 2025, which coincides with Q1 on the calendar — the first three months of the year. Revenue was up 27 percent on a year-over basis, while profit was down nearly 50 percent.
Profit was impacted by higher costs associated primarily with sports programming, including Super Bowl Lix on Fox and Tubi in February, though digital content and marketing expenses also played a factor.
That was one of the few blemishes in Fox’s earnings report, which otherwise delivered results that most broadcast and cable network owners would envy.

Two Fox News hosts and at least one other journalist have captured and shared their own photos and videos of the mysterious drones flying with increasing intensity around New Jersey and elsewhere in the past few weeks, with one saying he saw a craft that was as big as a school bus hovering 100 feet off the ground in Montclair.
“Fox & Friends” host Steve Doocy told his co-hosts Tuesday that he has observed the flying craft multiple times now, coming in “low, they’re about 100 yards, flying over my backyard. … They are buzzing overhead all the time. The scary part is when they stop. They just kind of hover for a little while.”
The FBI, New Jersey State Police and other agencies are scrambling to identify the strange craft, described as “SUV-sized,” able to avoid radar detection and so far elusive to all interception efforts, as helicopters are advised to stay away.

One of the former stars of The Real World is now going to be in charge of transportation in Donald Trump's cabinet. Sean Duffy, who went on to be a Fox News Business host, was nominated as the man in charge of The Department of Transportation under the new Trump administration. Duffy was a part of The Real World: Boston though he met his wife, Rachel Campos-Duffy (who was a contestant on The Real World: San Francisco) during their time together on Road Rules: All Stars on MTV. Since, the two have been conservative talking heads on Fox News prior to Duffy's new appointment.

President-Elect Donald Trump's surprising cabinet picks have dominated the news cycle this week among the latest is reality TV star Sean Duffy, who came to fame on MTV's The Real World.
Although it is true that Sean Duffy was a cast member on The Real World, he has actually had an extensive career in politics in the intervening years.
Moreover, Trump famously appointed another reality television personality to his administration during his first term: Omarosa Manigault Newman, who was known for her stint on The Apprentice.
Omarosa worked on his campaign before his election, and in September 2016, she said of then-candidate Trump:
"Every critic, every detractor, will have to bow down to President Trump. It's everyone who's ever doubted Donald, whoever disagreed, whoever challenged him. It is the ultimate revenge to become the most powerful man in the universe."

Donald Trump flubbed a “Fox and Friends” quote by touting a segment of the Fox News show he believed was a compliment when in fact, it was actually a criticism of the former President’s campaign.
“Rachel Campos-Duffy and Will Cain, two terrific people (along with Pete Hegseth!), were right this morning on ‘Fox & Friends.’ Almost 99% of the people I support in a Republican Primary, Win!” the former President wrote on Truth Social Sunday morning, adding a quote that read, “A Trump Endorsement will Make Your Career, A Trump Fight Makes It Very Difficult!”
As it turns out, the hosts made the exact opposite point while discussing Trump’s Saturday rally in Pickens, South Carolina. During the discussion, Joey Jones, who stepped in during Hegseth’s absence, argued that the former President’s support — or lack thereof — would not “make” nor “kill” a Republican politician’s career, using his...

Fox News was not happy with President Joe Biden’s commencement address to Howard University, which one Fox host called “pandering” and led another to declare America the “least racist country in the world.”
“Racism has long torn us apart,” Biden told the crowd during his speech to the historically Black university in Washington, D.C. on Saturday. “It’s a battle that’s never really over.” The president then called white supremacy “the most dangerous terrorist threat to our homeland,” and added, “I’m not saying this because I’m at a Black Hbcu.

Trump is expecting to be charged in relation to his 2016 hush-money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels sometime this week. While the specifics of the indictment have not yet been revealed, Fox News is already working overtime to brand the investigation a witch hunt, an abuse of prosecutorial power, and a political ploy to prevent Trump from securing the 2024 nomination. But aside from playing its Trump-defense greatest hits, Fox has also resorted to airing every absurd argument their writer’s room can think of to defend the former president’s actions.

He began the latest episode of his HBO late night show by noting that both former President Donald Trump and U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg have visited East Palestine, Ohio, in the wake of a freight train derailment and toxic spill.
But, Oliver noted, that isn’t enough for some Fox News Channel personalities. He showed a clip of Fox News hosts Rachel Campos-Duffy and Jesse Watters discussing the high-profile figures who have — and haven’t — visited the Ohio town amid the disaster.
“Think about the environmental activists, and corporate America — they weren’t there,” Campos-Duffy said. “I mean, with the activists, this is an ‘Erin Brockovich’ moment. There was a blockbuster, Oscar-winning movie written about something like this.

John Oliver started off Last Week Tonight roasting Fox News for the second week in a row. The HBO Max host show started off by noting that Donald Trump and U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg attended the train derailment in Ohio.
However, over on Fox News, Jesse Watters and Rachel Campos-Duffy asked why some personalities had not visited the site in East Palestine.
“Think about the environmental activists and corporate America, they weren’t there,” Campos-Duffy said on Fox & Friends Weekend.
The Real World: San Francisco alum continued, “This is an Erin Brockovich moment. There was a blockbuster Oscar-winning movie written about something like this.”
Watters added that Brockovich was actually paying a visit to East Palestine with Campos-Duffy asking, “But where is Julia Roberts?”
Oliver’s reaction to the Fox News segment left him confused and asking what they were talking about before educating the television personalities on Roberts’s profession.

Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy suggested Sunday that President Biden is “potentially compromised” by China and therefore had to make sure it was okay with the Chinese before the U.S. military shot down the country’s surveillance balloon off the coast of the Carolinas on Saturday.
Campos-Duffy complained on Fox & Friends about how the balloon was allowed to travel across the country over the last few days.

The Real World: San Francisco would be the perfect choice for the fourth season of The Real World Homecoming. Premiering back in 1994, seven strangers from various walks of life were picked to live in a house on Lombard Street in San Francisco. The Real World: San Francisco was an instant success, building upon the drama and real-life conversations from the previous two seasons to become the most iconic of the series.
MTV has brought back original casts of The Real World for their new Paramount+ series, The Real World Homecoming, beginning with New York and following with Los Angeles and New Orleans. With all three seasons being a success, a fourth season seems inevitable, and San Francisco should be first on the list. The original cast of Cory Murphy, Judd Winnick, Mohammed Bilal, Pam Ling, Pedro Zamora, David "Puck" Rainey, Rachel Campos-Duffy, and late arrival Joanna "Jo" Rhodes captivated audiences...

Reality TV legend Mark Long appears in The Challenge: Untold History documentary. Pic credit: MTV
In a recently-revealed clip from The Challenge: Untold History, viewers can take a trip down memory lane with some of the Og cast members who were part of the show’s early evolution.
Initially, MTV’s The Challenge didn’t involve the extra-fancy production, an extensive cast of reality TV stars, or even a big money prize, as competitors roughed it in an Rv.
Those early years brought Real World and Road Rules together to see which cast might win bragging rights for various missions, among other random prizes they received. Money was on the line at times, but never near the amounts competitors battle for today.
The show’s earliest cast members included legends like The Godfather Mark Long, Darrell Taylor, Jon Brennan, Theo von Kurnatowski, and Veronica Portillo.

As Russia has intensified its war in Ukraine, the Kremlin’s propaganda outlets have largely been shut off in the West — but Vladimir Putin has some not-so-subtle defenders nestled into America’s far-right media outlets.
That includes from Fox News’ biggest boy, Tucker Carlson, as well as the folks of Oan. Arguably the front-runner for the most outrageous claim came from Oan correspondent Pearson Sharp, who speculated wildly in a segment last week that Putin’s decision to invade a sovereign country was actually the fault of — wait for it — President Biden.

The couple met thanks to MTV’s “The Real World” — she was a cast member on “The Real World: San Francisco” in 1994, while he was on “The Real World: Boston” — but Campos-Duffy isn’t convinced the new iteration of the show that sparked her marriage can live up to the original seasons.

After a schedule reshuffling that moved previous 7 p.m. host Martha MacCallum to 3 p.m. and turned the hour from news to opinion, Brian Kilmeade took over last week.
Bartiromo is slated to make the announcement on her Sunday show, “Sunday Morning Futures.” Beyond that, she hosts a morning show on Fox Business Network every weekday called “Mornings With Maria.” On Friday evenings, she hosts another Fox Business show, “Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street.” Overall, she hosts 17 hours or more of television programming per week, though Dagen McDowell will host her “Mornings With Maria” show for the first few days she’s in primetime.

Maria Bartiromo will be among the Fox News Channel personnel taking a crack at leading “Fox News Primetime,” the cable-news outlet’s new opinion hour at 7 p.m.
Bartiromo, contributors Katie Pavlich, Rachel Campos-Duffy and former U.S. Representative Trey Gowdy, and frequent guest Mark Steyn are among those who will rotate as anchors on the program. Fox News launched an overhauled daytime lineup today that placed the former 7 p.m. anchor, Martha MacCallum, in the afternoons, and reserved the hour instead for an additional hour of opinion-based programming. Brian Kilmeade, the “Fox & Friends” co-host, kicks off the show today and will be followed by the other hosts, a spokesperson for the network confirmed Monday.
The Los Angeles Times previously reported the hosts who will rotate each week in the new program. There was no immediate indication that any of the hosts taking part in the 7 p.m. rotation had...

Donald Trump’s reelection campaign is requesting that the first presidential debate between the president and Joe Biden be held in early September, while it has provided organizers with a list of recommended moderators.
The list, below, is heavy in Fox News personalities, yet does not include Chris Wallace. He moderated a debate in the 2016 cycle, but recently interviewed Trump for Fox News Sunday in a widely praised hour-long exchange in which he, at multiple points, fact-checked the president’s assertions.
Trump’s campaign argues that the first debate, now scheduled for Sept. 29, will take place after early voting has begun in 16 states. Two other presidential debates are scheduled for Oct. 15 and Oct. 22. The Trump campaign also continued its call for debate planners to a fourth debate to the schedule in early September, but said that if that does not happen, the Oct. 22 event should be moved to that date.
