Norman Cabrera is a Special Effects Make-Up Artist, Sculptor, and Director with 40 years of Motion Picture experience. He's lent his talents to some of Hollywood's biggest FX blockbusters including Ghostbusters 2020, Hellboy 1&2, The Walking Dead, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, From Dusk till Dawn and more.
His passion for movies and making monsters started in his teens and at the age of 20 he began his career with Oscar Winner Rick Baker on films including as Harry and The Hendersons, Coming to America, Gremlins 2, and Gorillas in the Mist.
In addition to film work, Cabrera also immersed himself in the world of music videos since the late 80's, creating wild visuals, costume and stage design for Rob Zombie, Danzig, The Misfits, The Ramones and highly stylized music videos for Municipal Waste, Bat, Ottto and others.
Based in Los Angeles, Cabrera continues to create cutting edge creatures and Special FX Make Up for Film and Television.
