    Buckley was co-owner of a popular Beverly Hills eatery called the Cafe Four Oaks. For Thanksgiving 1968, he hosted a free turkey dinner for fifty African-American orphans. He asked several notable Hollywood stars to attend. The only one who showed was Steve McQueen.
