Crossbones isn’t done throwing punches, or at least karate chops, in the Marvel Universe. Frank Grillo recently dropped a spicy little tease on Instagram, sharing an image from The Amazing Spider-Man (2025) #5 variant cover titled Bring on the Bad Guys (by Ryan Brown). The cover art shows Spider-Man getting karate-chopped off a rooftop by Crossbones. Naturally, Grillo couldn’t resist stirring the pot. “Ohhhhhh….. look who’s back. Yup. #Crossbones!!! #Spiderman No one dies in the multiverse. #CrossbonesLives,” Grillo posted, tagging @marvelcomics and even his son, @rio_grillo, for good measure. Image Credit: Frank Grillo (Instagram) For those who don’t remember, Brock Rumlow, aka Crossbones, started as a S.H.I.E.L.D. operative before revealing himself as Hydra scum in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The Joker's slick new ride is finally correcting a mistake that's been long overdue. In a killer new cover art, the Clown Prince of Crime finally has a vehicle that puts the Batmobile to shame.
DC has provided fans with a look at its releases for the month of August. The month is largely filled out with the back half of DC's upcoming summer event, Knight Terrors and its many miniseries. One such series that will be wrapping up is Knight Terrors: The Joker, whose second issue features several variant covers from artists such as Stefano Raffaele, Christian Ward, and Ryan Brown. In addition to those covers, Riley Rossmo contributes a variant that gives the garish villain the perfect car. Rossmo's variant sees the Joker wielding a chainsaw and hanging out of the driver's side window of a souped-up monstrosity. The car has been given a paint job matching the...

The Joker is about to come face-to-face with his most dreaded fear. DC has revealed a look at a tie-in for its upcoming Knight Terrors event that reveals what truly scares the Clown Prince of Crime.
With Knight Terrors on the horizon, DC has begun revealing new books that will tie into the event. As the DC Universe's heroes are taken into a Nightmare Realm, the Joker is going to have to confront his peculiar fears and anxieties. Knight Terrors: The Joker #1 sees the Harlequin of Hate transformed not into a monster or a demon, but into an average, boring office worker.
When you’re the Clown Prince of Crime, what kind of nightmare do you have? Working a nine-to-five office job! How will the Joker handle meetings that could have been emails?! Why did management cancel bring-your-child-to-work day?! Who will want to make small talk at the coffee machine?...

In Self Reliance, Jake Johnson’s Thomas, still reeling from a two-year-old break-up and generally disillusioned with life, agrees to participate in a reality television show for the dark web where, for 30 days, people will try to murder him. The loophole that Thomas gloms on to is that he can’t be murdered when he is in close proximity to someone else. What follows is 90 minutes of Thomas trying to convince family, friends, and strangers that, one, this show is real and, two, that they need to stay with him 24/7. The feature also stars Anna Kendrick.
For Johnson, who is best known for his work in front of the camera on series like New Girl and in indies like Safety Not Guaranteed, inspiration came in the form of surreal Japanese reality shows and the pandemic where, as he puts it, reality became increasingly subjective.

In 2010, "The Oprah Winfrey Show" launched its search for the worst cook in America -- and found her. Victoria Arbiter was nominated by her husband, Ryan Brown, and was flown to Chicago for a one-on-one cooking lesson with cookbook author Jessica Seinfeld (wife of comedian Jerry Seinfeld). Then Arbiter's new skills were put to the test in front of a national audience as she served a home-cooked meal to her husband and son on "The Oprah Show." The result? Rave reviews from her family.
That episode did more than just improve Arbiter's cooking skills: It also helped her land the job of her dreams. "This is a classic example of where opportunity met hard work," Arbiter says in this clip from "Oprah: Where Are They Now?"
In the clip, the native Brit says she had always dreamed of becoming a royal correspondent on national television -- and even had royal connections,...
