With the first Ironheart teaser expected to be released tomorrow and Superman's trailer confirmed for Wednesday, it's shaping up to be a busy week for news.
As for Monday, we're kicking things off with an official look at Nicolas Cage's Spider-Man in Amazon and MGM+'s Spider-Noir TV series.
The wall-crawling private investigator has already been spotted in set photos, but this spectacular black-and-white image is like seeing the comic books—and 2018's Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse—come to life in live-action.
Cage can be seen striking an iconic Spider-Man pose and will clearly be able to shoot webs in the show. Whether Spider-Noir can right the ship for Sony after disappointments like Madame Web, Morbius, and Kraven the Hunter remains to be seen.
It's interesting that this still has been presented in black-and-white because Spider-Noir star Lukas Haas previously said, "We filmed it in - I...

The third chapter in the beloved Enola Holmesfilm series continues to make exciting progress months after it was officially announced. Most recently, Digital Spy confirmed that Enola Homes 3 has begun filming in the U.K., where its prequels were also produced. It is currently shooting at Shepperton Studios, with some filming set for Malta later on in production. No release date has been set yet for the upcoming movie, and neither are there details about its plot.
Even so, fans can expect Enola Holmes 3 to explore some unfinished storylines in the second installment, including Sharon Duncan-Brewster's Moriarty escaping from prison and the introduction of Himesh Patel's Dr John Watson. In addition, the new film has Philip Barantini taking over as director from Harry Bradbeer, who helmed the first two movies. Barantini recently gained more popularity for his work on Adolescence, which is not only a Netflix hit...

Kai Caster played Dirk Bennett on ten episodes of the Prime Video series The Baxters, showed up in a season 3 episode of Magnum P.I. and a season 8 episode of American Horror Story, and – after playing Young Kayce in a season 2 episode of Yellowstone – was cast to play the character Rowdy in five episodes of the fifth season. Now, Deadline reports that Caster has landed a guest role in Prime Video’s Marvel-inspired series Spider-Noir and has also secured a leading role in the horror comedy Halloween Store.

I’m really looking forward to Nicolas Cage’s Spider-Noir, and one actor on the series has teased that it could double down on the film noir aspect. While speaking with ComingSoon.net, Lukas Haas said Spider-Noir could be released in black-and-white. I’d be into that.
“We filmed it in — I think it may come out in both black and white and color, but when we filmed it, the monitors were all black and white, so you got this feeling and it looked very, very authentic,” Haas said. “To the point that I would actually go and look at the monitor and think I was looking at some older footage, but it was actually just a monitor of what was on the camera at the time. They did a beautiful job with the filters and all that stuff, making it look like genuine old 1930s, black and white film.

Spider-Noir remains in production and, if the set photos we've seen are any indication, the web-slinger's first TV series will put a unique new spin on Spider-Man.
Screen icon Nicolas Cage plays Ben Reilly, a private eye who moonlights as a superhero. We've seen him swinging into action on set, suggesting the series will be very much in line with the comics, even though those featured Peter Parker under the mask. Why Spider-Noir is named after his clone hasn't been made clear.
Lukas Haas has landed a mystery role in the show and, during a recent interview with Coming Soon, suggested the series could be released in black and white as well as colour.
"It was just an incredible project," he told the site. "Everybody involved was amazing. Brendan Gleason, he plays my boss. Just getting to, to do that noir thing. It was very genuine film noir, the way they filmed it,...

Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown revealed new details regarding the third Enola Holmes movie that will leave fans thrilled. During a recent interview with Collider while promoting the Russo Brothers' new movie, The Electric State, Brown said that production will begin very soon on the threequel.
"I'm going to be doing an 'Enola Holmes 3' this year. We start filming in the coming weeks. I'm very excited!"
The first Enola Holmes film was a surprise hit for Netflix when it debuted in 2020. The movie follows Sherlock Holmes' younger sister Enola (Brown), as she searches for her missing mother, Eudoria (Helena Bonham Carter). She soon uncovers a massive conspiracy while outsmarting her famous brother. It currently holds a terrific 91% critical and 71% audience rating, and a sequel followed in 2022.

Longlegs star Nicolas Cage voiced the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man Noir in the animated feature Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and we’re going to have the chance to watch him play the character in live-action in the upcoming MGM+ and Prime Video series that’s going by the title Spider-Noir. That show is currently in production, and today, Deadline revealed that the recurring cast includes Amy Aquino (Bosch) and Andrew Robinson (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine)!
I’m especially excited to hear that Andrew Robinson is involved with this show, because he has been largely absent from our screens for way too long. The character actors has racked up over 100 credits over the course of a career that stretches back to 1969, with Dirty Harry, Mask, Cobra, Hellraiser, Shoot to Kill, Child’s Play 3, Trancers III, Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings, and The Puppet Masters being among the many movies you might have seen him in.

What Do We Know About the upcoming comic book series Spider-Noir? More thank you may think. The first Sony-produced television series as part of their Spider-man Universe, Spider-Noir, has many fans excited about what the series will be. We know some cool stuff about the upcoming series, from set photos to casting details. So, let’s jump in and discuss.
Nicolas Cage is not playing Peter Parker.
After voicing a version of the character in the animated films Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse and Across The Spider-Verse, Nicolas Cage‘s casting as the Noir version excited people. To differentiate the project from the film adaptation and the various versions of Spider-Man’s alter ego, the series will present a different take on the Noir hero by making him someone other than the character played by Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, or Tobey Maguire in live-action. It's business as usual in Los Angeles now the worst of the wildfires is over and Spider-Noir resumed shooting yesterday. Lead star Nicolas Cage, no stranger to comic book adaptations, has been spotted in costume as Ben Reilly, albeit in his P.I. gear rather than a super-suit.
The actor first played this version of Spidey in 2018's Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and became an instant fan-favourite. The fact he's getting to reprise the role in live-action isn't something we ever expected, though this Spider-Man is Ben, not Peter Parker (we don't think that makes him a clone; it's more than likely a result of Sony not wanting to confuse audiences).
It's been a while since we got any updates about Spider-Noir but MGM and Amazon Prime appear to be moving full steam ahead with the streaming series.
While it was put into development before Sony Pictures pulled the plug on its villain-led Marvel Universe,...

Over the years, there have been several comedy TV shows that turned serious, but took things too far. Plenty of warm comedy TV shows, at one point or another, were guilty of delving into darker storylines. Some of these titles crossed the lines and became too serious, and while it worked for some, it impacted most of them in a negative way. This was mainly because the unusual change in the show’s atmosphere was so noticeable that audiences were thrown off.
A lot of dark comedy TV shows have a perfect balance of the two genres, and they’re remembered for their pacing, especially how the somber moments compliment the jokes. After the novel became a smashing bestseller, there were a lot of people waiting for the Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine movie adaptation. From author Gail Honeyman, Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine tells the story of Eleanor, a Scottish woman in her late 20s who is highly intelligent but socially awkward. Along with avoiding interacting with her colleagues, Eleanor spends her weekends in her apartment drinking heavily by herself. However, as she begins to confront some of the trauma of her past, the protagonist also learns to open up to those around her.
Released in 2017, the novel received high acclaim from critics and won the Costa Debut Novel Award. It also became a hit with the public, as over 2.5 million copies have been sold (via Harper Collins). Not surprisingly, it didn't take too long before that success caught the attention of Hollywood. Sony and Amazon/MGM's Spider-Noir series appears to be taking some major liberties with the source material, but given how obscure this Variant of the web-slinger is, does it really matter if "Ben Reilly" is beneath the mask instead of Peter Parker?
That's debatable; regardless, Sony appears to be ignoring the fact Ben is Peter's clone and we don't anticipate that being addressed in any way when Spider-Noir swings on to streaming next year.
Today, we have some new photos from the TV show's set (via Just Jared) showcasing Nicolas Cage's private eye. We've already seen that the series will feature a comic-accurate superhero costume and Cage unquestionably looks the part of "Ben" in these snaps.
Earlier this year, Cage opened up on what led to him reprising a role he first played in the animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

What Is The Story Behind Millie Bobby Brown’s Enola Holmes Role?(Photo Credit – YouTube)
Millie Bobby Brown’s transformation into the quick-witted, rebellious Enola Holmes was no happy accident. In fact, it all started with Brown’s sister, Paige, who first fell in love with the character. After devouring Nancy Springer’s Enola Holmes novels, Paige envisioned Brown as the perfect Enola and passed the spark to her sister. As Brown shared with The Los Angeles Times, Paige’s enthusiasm “immediately got me excited” about the idea of playing Enola, whom she admired for her “bravery and vulnerability.”
And just like that, the Stranger Things star took her first step toward a different role. Unlike Eleven’s telekinetic battles, Enola demanded a full-on physical commitment. “This [Enola] is the film where I’ve done the most stunt work,” Brown said, contrasting it with her roles in Stranger Things and Godzilla.

As the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to expand, adapting bigger and bolder storylines to live-action, Sony too is moving ahead with its Spider-Man Universe. Having access to some 900 or so characters related to the fan-favorite web-slinger, the studio is now moving to the small screen to bring yet another story to live-action.

Starring Nicolas Cage, the studio has been developing the series Spider-Noir for quite some time now, and the first looks of the series were recently leaked. Reprising his role from the Oscar-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse, this time in live-action, fans are excited and waiting eagerly for the series.
Despite Sony’s track record of Marvel flicks (other than the Spider-Verse movies) being, bluntly stating, terrible, the prospect of seeing Cage as the live version of his character does seem alluring. So, without further ado, here is all we know about the latest and upcoming series.

Nicolas Cage was spotted on the set of Spider-Noir earlier this month but wasn’t in his Spidey costume at the time. Thankfully, our first look at the live-action Spider-Man Noir costume has arrived, thanks to a handful of set photos. There’s also a video that showcases a stunt sequence in which Spider-Noir is perched atop a vehicle while shooting webs. You’ll have to view that through the link. Given the nature of the scene, it’s not Cage in the costume but rather a stunt double.

Given that it's being developed by Sony, there's been some concern among fans that Amazon's Spider-Noir series starring Nicolas Cage might not see the title character actually suit up.
Peter Parker has already been replaced by Ben Reilly as Spider-Man Noir, but newly revealed photos and footage from the show's set confirm we're getting a comic-accurate take on the wall-crawling private detective.
The hero looks like he's stepped straight off the page with a design that's also pretty much identical to what we saw in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
Based on how this scene is playing out, Ben will see a fair bit of action as he rides atop a car while shooting webs into the distance. He also has his trademark hat and goggles, though we should point out that it's a stuntman in the suit, not Cage.

Back in the saddle as Enola Holmes, Millie Bobby Brown returned to Netflix’s Enola Holmes 2 (2022) with her signature sass and sharp wit. Deadline brings word that Amazon's Spider-Noir has cast Boardwalk Empire star Jack Huston in a mysterious "bodyguard" role. No further details have been shared, though he could be playing anyone from an unnamed heavy to a new take on villains like Hammerhead and Tombstone.
He now joins a cast which will be led by Nicolas Cage (who is supposedly playing Ben Reilly in place of Peter Parker), Brendan Gleeson, Lamorne Morris, Abraham Popoola, and Li Jun Li.
HBO's Boardwalk Empire put Huston on the map, though the ill-fated Ben-Hur derailed his attempt to become a Hollywood leading man. The closest he's come to starring in a comic book project is Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. His other credits include The Irishman, House of Gucci, and Fargo.
Spider-Noir will premiere on the MGM+ linear channel in the U.S. and globally on Prime Video.

Jack Huston has joined the cast of Spider-Noir. He will star as a series regular alongside Nicolas Cage, who plays an “aging and down on his luck private investigator in 1930s New York who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero.” Cage first voiced the character in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
I’ve been re-watching Boardwalk Empire recently, and Huston is just phenomenal as Richard Harrow, a heartbreaking character who is one hell of a badass. It’s not known exactly who Huston will play in Spider-Noir, but it’s said he will be a bodyguard. Perhaps he’ll be watching over Brendan Gleeson’s character, who is expected to be the main villain of the series. The cast also includes Lamorne Morris as Robbie Robertson, Abraham Popoola as a World War I veteran, and Li Jun Li as a...
