Kevin Mukherji is an American actor & director known for his role in the feature films Steven Spielberg directed The Terminal, John MvNaughton directed Norman Life, Albert Brooks directed Looking For Comedy In The Muslim World among others, and in popular TV shows Better Things, Shameless, Parenthood, Southland, Arrested Development and Without A Trace among others. Kevin Mukherji was born in Kolkata, India but grew up in the Chicagoland area. Mukherji was the first actor & director of Indian Bengali descent to work in the American film industry starting in 1980. Mukherji graduated from Von Steuben High School in three years and then received a master degree in filmmaking from Northern Illinois University. He studied acting at Second City and Victory Gardens in Chicago. Mukherji directed the feature psychological drama Death And Taxis, Journey Of A Bluesman, and the feature documentary We Are One narrated by Forest Whitaker with Jimmy Carter and Harold Ramis among others.
