James Sobol Kelly

James Sobol Kelly is an American screen and stage actor known for Young Sherlock, Florence Foster Jenkins (2016), The Crown (2016), Jack Ryan (2018), and Two Faces of January (2014). Kelly was born in Chicago to Roman Catholic parents, and is the sixth of seven children. He trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, and first came to attention when he played Oscar Isaac's sinister FBI handler in the 2014 film Two Faces of January (2014). On stage Kelly has performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company, Punchdrunk, the American Repertory Theatre, and La MaMa ETC among many others. He has also voiced characters for video games including Carl Chisum in Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint (2019), 8D8 in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga (2022), and Ken Morgan in Hitman (2016).
