He and Jason Garden wrote the music and lyrics for the musical, "Tales of the City: A New Musical," in an American Contemporary Theatre production in San Francisco, California. Jeff Whitty was librettist. The musical is based on the novel by Amistead Maupin's Tales of the City" and "More Tales of the City." Jason Moore was director.
