Has appeared in two productions with Peter Howell: The Lord of the Rings for BBC Radio, and Les ombres du coeur (1993). In the former, they played Faramir and Saruman, respectively. The latter film was about C.S. Lewis, a close friend of author J.R.R. Tolkien who is said to have modeled the character of Treebeard after Lewis.
