Rudy Rupak, writer and producer of Snowboard Academy (1996) and She's Too Tall (1999), came from a film distribution and film sales background. Snowboard Academy was released by Columbia TriStar Home Video when he was only 25 years old, making him Canada's youngest producer to have worked with a major studio at the time. Both films were produced under the banner of Milliennium Multimedia which also produced several video games including Leonard Nimoy's PRIMORTALS before pivoting into a software company called and going public on NASDAQ under the symbol PINC. After a long hiatus from the entertainment industry, Rudy has decided to return to entertainment and has two television series as well as a virtual reality project in the works.

Rudy was originally born in Chiswick, London but grew up in multiple countries such as Calgary, Canada, and South Africa. He eventually settled in California. Growing up with such a great, varied perspective on the world and its inhabitants contributed to Rudy's entrepreneurial spirit, always looking to start something new.

Rudy has always had a love for the big screen. His tastes are varied and include anything from science fiction to documentaries. Rudy is a fan of Kubrick, Spielberg, Hitchcock, and Tarantino.
