Cap Mundy was a circus barker and magician. He was married to Emily Mundy who was featured as Madam Zola, a fortune teller. Cap worked circuses into the 1950s along with his film work. Their daughters, Thelma and Velma performed as a "spider woman" in a small tent with a cloth spider body and rope web designed by Cap when they were children. Cap had a distinctive voice which, it was said, could be heard for a half mile with no amplification.
