If his posts on his social media site, X, are any indication, Elon Musk is letting a New York Times report that he’s taken so much ketamine he can’t pee right get to him.
“To be clear, I am Not taking drugs!” Musk wrote on Saturday. “The New York Times was lying their ass off. I tried *prescription* ketamine a few years ago and said so on X, so this not even news. It helps for getting out of dark mental holes, but haven’t taken it since then.

Elon Musk was using drugs “far more intensely than previously known,” while helping Donald Trump successfully campaign to get back in the White House last year, The New York Times reported on Friday.
Musk was taking ketamine, Ecstasy and psychedelic mushrooms, the newspaper reports, adding that his “drug consumption went well beyond occasional use,” possibly including the stimulant Adderall.
He reportedly told people he was taking so much ketamine, “it was affecting his bladder,” the Times reports, noting that this is a “known effect of chronic use.”
The drug use allegedly took place as Musk was dealing with drama in his relationships with the mothers of his various children.
The Times pointed to Claire Boucher, the musician known as Grimes and mother of three of Musk’s children, jostling for control of their 5 year-old son, X. The child appeared alongside his father in the Oval Office and at other high-profile political events.

One of MSNBC’s best-known personalities is getting into the world of podcasts — even if she’s no longer with MSNBC.
Joy Reid was hosting a Monday-through-Friday program in the early evening for the soon-to-be-spun-off -from-NBCUniversal progressive news outlet as recently as February when she was ousted in a revamp of the network ordered by its new chief, Rebecca Kutler. In the waning minutes of her final broadcast of her program, “The Reid Out,” Reid vowed that viewers would not be hearing her last monologue. “We are not going to stop,” she said.
Now she is ready to go. Starting June 9, Redi will stream “The Joy Reid Show” on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons across YouTube and major podcast distributors. The debut episode will feature comedian Amber Ruffin and former South African ambassador to the U.S. Ebrahim Rasool. The program will be based in Washington, D.C.

Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon were once two of CNN‘s top stars and would often be found gushing over one another, especially during their nightly handovers. But was their bromance fake? On a recent episode of Patrick Bet-David’s Home Team podcast, Cuomo implied his on-screen friendship with Lemon was just for the cameras and that their handover banter was actually the brainchild of former CNN boss Jeff Zucker. Cuomo claimed that Zucker told him, “You’ve gotta stay over on [Lemon’s] show to help mitigate whatever’s going to come out of his mouth.” In addition to their nightly handovers, Cuomo and Lemon hosted The Handoff podcast and went on tour together. However, when asked if he would ever consider podcasting with Lemon again, Cuomo responded, “Why would I do it?” “You think he’s going to apologize to me?” the NewsNation host continued. “I have nothing but good stuff for him.

Don Lemon says he was “harassed” by both “women and men” during his 17 years at CNN.
“I have been harassed by women and men in the work[place]. And some things are not even…it’s ridiculous,” Lemon told Bill Maher during an appearance on his “Club Random” podcast. “Now look, there are some things that are really egregious, but not everything is Harvey Weinstein-level.”
CNN declined Variety‘s request for comment.
Without naming any names, Lemon said there was one incident where a “young lady” coworker “tweaked my nipples” while in the cafeteria before saying, “‘Oh, it’s cold in here!'”
“I said, ‘Ok, you realize if I did that they’d be walking me out the door right now?’” Lemon said. “But I didn’t care to go to Hr. I didn’t say anything because I was just like, ‘It’s a double standard, it’s fine.

Ex-CNN anchor Don Lemon alleged to Bill Maher on the latter’s podcast, Club Random, that he was sexually harassed by colleagues while working at the network multiple times. Early on in the episode, they talked about experiencing harassment in the workplace. “I’ve been harassed by women and men in the work,” he claimed to the podcast host. “There are some things that are really egregious, but not everything is Harvey Weinstein-level.” According to Lemon, he had uncomfortable moments with colleagues and he alleged that included being touched inappropriately in a CNN cafeteria by a female coworker in Atlanta, Georgia. Don Lemon recently appeared on Bill Maher’s “Club Random” podcast and got into a debate with the host after claiming that a “huge faction of the Maga movement” is “really fucking racist.” Maher disagreed by saying: “I wouldn’t say huge. No.” The topic came up when the duo discussed the backlash that ignited over Tom Hanks’ “Black Jeopardy” sketch during the “SNL50” event last month.
Hanks popped up in the sketch as Donald Trump supporter Doug, a character he first played on “SNL” eight years ago. Sporting a red Maga hat, Doug freaks out when Kenan Thompson’s “Black Jeopardy” host goes to shake his hand. The sketch led to Republican backlash on social media, with many accusing “SNL” of making all Trump supporters out to be racists.

The acid-tongued reaction from Megyn Kelly following the sudden departure of Joy Reid from MSNBC last week has provoked the wrath of former CNN anchor Don Lemon, launching a battle of words between the two ex-Prime Time newshow hosts, with Lemon telling Kelly to “go fuck yourself.”
The dismissal of Reid from the left-leaning cable news network that aired The ReidOut from 2020 until her recent sacking was announced on Sunday and is part of restructuring plans the network confirmed Monday. This overhaul coincides with the Trump administration’s massive overhaul of federal agencies, as well as CBS News potentially settling a suit with Trump over its editing of an interview with former Vice President Kamala Harris and shortly after ABC News settling a lawsuit filed by the president.

Don Lemon Rips ‘Racist’ Megyn Kelly Over Joy Reid Barb: ‘Go F–k Yourself’ | Video
Former CNN host Don Lemon skewered Megyn Kelly as a “racist” and told her to “go f–k yourself” for being so happy that soon-to-be former MSNBC host Joy Reid had lost her job.
Lemon made the harsh comments in a video posted on Monday, saying, “Let me just say to Megyn Kelly, in my 30-some years as a journalist and my 50-some years as a person of color, go f–k yourself, Ok?”
He then said Kelly built the second half of her career, following her time at Fox News and NBC, being a “troll.” Kelly currently hosts her namesake radio show on SiriusXM — a program that is also available as a podcast and as a YouTube show.
What set Lemon off? He was upset about an X post from Kelly on Sunday, in which she said “good riddance” to Reid, who she called the “absolute worst person on television.

Fellow “F&f” co-host Kayleigh McEnany felt the same way, saying “SNL” “must have gotten the script from Don Lemon.”
“Remember when he made fun of Maga voters, or his guest did for not being able to point out a country on the map? That’s ridiculous,” she said.
Hanks played a man named “Tracy” who was wearing one of President Trump’s trademark red Make America Great Again hats while appearing on “Black Jeopardy,” but it was actually a recurring bit — Hanks played the same character on “SNL” before in a “Black Jeopardy” sketch in 2016. The original sketch is the second most-watched “SNL” sketch of all time.

Rebecca Kutler was named president of MSNBC Wednesday, dropping an “interim” designation from her title and taking on the mantle of moving the progressive network forward as it grapples not only with coverage of President Trump but splitting off from NBC in a spin-off being orchestrated by corporate parent Comcast.
In her short tenure at the helm, MSNBC’s ratings have begun to moderate after a significant post-election dip, largely on the strength of Rachel Maddow retuning to regular primetime appearances during Trump’s first 100 days in office. It will be up to Kutler to lead the network if, as previously announced, Maddow returns to her current once-a-week routine. She will also have to determine how to fill Andrea Mitchell’s noon spot — and, potentially, much of the daytime schedule, if MSNBC is separated from the newsgathering assets of NBC News in the spin-off.

Don Lemon fired back at Kanye West after the controversial rapper called the former CNN host a “goofball” and claimed Lemon spread an incorrect rumor that West and his wife, Bianca Censori, were kicked out of the Grammys. Censori shocked the red carpet by wearing a nude outfit. The couple then left the event without ever going inside the Crypto.com Arena.
Despite online rumors that West had been booted from Grammys, sources close to the Grammys told Variety at the time that such claims were “not true” and that West simply “walked the carpet, got in his car and left.” West targeted Lemon in a since-deleted Instagram post as the source of the rumors, although Lemon denied it in a video posted to his YouTube page.

Don Lemon and Kanye West exchanged public messages on social media Monday following Lemon’s attempted interview with the rapper as he arrived to the Grammy Awards red carpet.
The feud began with a since-deleted post from West, who now goes by Ye, saying that Lemon — whom he called a “goofball” — started a rumor that Ye and his wife, Bianca Censori, were kicked out of the Grammy Awards on Sunday night.
Ye and Censori’s arrival made waves when Censori took off her black coat to reveal a completely sheer dress without underwear. Rumors later swirled online that the couple had been escorted out because they were not invited, though this proved untrue.
Lemon responded to West’s post with a video. “First of all, Kanye, Yee, Ye, whatever your name is — I did not start a rumor about you being kicked out of the Grammys,” he said. “I actually corrected it.

It seems Donald Trump is making awards shows political again.
After high-profile ceremonies were mostly apolitical last year as celebs grew quiet after speaking out against Trump from awards show stages in his first term, the 2025 Grammys, the first major awards show in Trump’s second term, featured a number of references to some of the most controversial actions the president has taken at the start of his second term.
Lady Gaga issued perhaps the strongest call out to Trump’s anti-trans executive orders, including a first-day proclamation that the U.S. would only recognize two genders (male and female) and that those “are not changeable.” Accepting the Grammy for best pop duo or group performance for her “Die With a Smile” duet with Bruno Mars, Gaga declared, “Trans people are not invisible. Trans people deserve love. The queer community deserves to be lifted up. Music is love.”

Todd had in recent weeks been meeting with other news outlets and potential employers, according to people familiar with the matter. His current contract with NBC News had been expected to lapse at some point after the 2024 election.

Jim Acosta, the aggressive CNN correspondent who has gained notice for holding interview subjects to account from perches in the White House press room and on newsroom sets, is poised to leave the Warner Bros. Discovery-backed outlet after a shake-up in its schedule that left him without anchoring duties during daytime hours.
Acosta is expected to inform viewers of the decision as soon as Tuesday when he ends his program, according to a person familiar with the matter. CNN declined to make executives available for comment. The Status newsletter reported on Monday night that Acosta had made a decision to exit.
CNN stood ready to keep Acosta employed, according to people familiar with the situation, but wanted to move him to non-traditional hours: between midnight and 2 a.m., a slot CNN has used in the past to show repeats of its primetime schedule for viewers on the west coast.

However, one person thinks that Matt deserves a second chance.

Don Lemon has gone to bat for his friend and former Today host Matt Lauer, claiming that “women love him” and the “general public would accept [him] back” on television. The former CNN anchor talked about Lauer on a recent episode of the Hollywood Raw Podcast with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn, where he said if the former NBC News anchor came “back to digital,” he could “set his own course” for returning to the media. Lauer joined NBC in 1992 as the co-anchor of the early weekday news show Today in New York before joining the Today show full-time in 1994. NBC News terminated Lauer’s contract in November 2017 after an unidentified female NBC employee accused him of sexually harassing her during the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. The accuser was later revealed as former NBC News producer Brooke Nevils, who went public with her story in 2019 in Ronan Farrow’s book Catch and Kill.

2 years later, in Ronan Farrow’s 2019 expose “Catch and Kill,” Lauer was accused on the record of sexually harassing several former NBC colleagues, and one former NBC producer accused him of raping her. Wendy Williams said a lot of things this week in two different interviews. She spoke to her longtime friend, Don Lemon, on his podcast. She also spoke to DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God on the Breakfast Club podcast. In both, she seemed distressed that she was locked away and wasn’t allowed to see her family and loved ones. However, she also seemed concerned about her treatment.
Here is what Wendy had to say about the treatment in the facility she was admitted to in New York.
Wendy Williams Says She Is Taking Lots Of Mystery Medication
In the interviews, Wendy Williams said that she feels that the facility she lives in is like a prison. While this is not a basic long-term care facility and is instead a luxury care facility with around-the-clock medical care, she feels that she can’t do anything but just look out the window.

Depending on who you ask, CNN anchor Jim Acosta is getting a chance to speak to a much broader audience with an assignment at a new and non-traditional time slot, or he’s being removed entirely from the usual daily discussion around the news.
Executives at CNN have asked Acosta to take a new role, anchoring a show that would air from midnight to 2 a.m. on the eastern coast of the U.S., according to two people familiar with the matter. Even so, the show has been pitched a chance to deliver live breaking news to audiences on the West coast and overseas at times when viewers in those regions are still active and craving information.
The offer was issued this week, according to these people, and Acosta, who gained a broader profile at CNN with his coverage of the White House during the first administration of President Donald Trump,...

Rashida Jones, a respected news operator who has led MSNBC for four years, will leave the NBCUniversal cable outlet to pursue other opportunities, she informed executives and staffers Tuesday.
She will be replaced on an interim basis by Rebecca Kutler, a veteran news executive with a long track record of managing talent and devising innovative programming concepts. She takes the lead role at MSNBC as it faces not only the challenges of covering the Trump administration for its demoralized liberal audience, but also the prospect of being spun off into a new publicly traded company by corporate parent Comcast.
The executive swap takes place as MSNBC is grappling with a significant downturn in its ratings. Between the election and the end of 2024, MSNBC’s primetime audience between the ages of 25 and 54 — the demographic most prized by advertisers in news programming — fell 65%, according to data from Nielsen. There has been concern that the network,...

Don Lemon has chimed in on the Morning Joe debate regarding whether people should “be civil” towards President-elect Donald Trump and his incoming administration. The former CNN anchor blasted MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski for their recent discussion about “civility” towards Trump and Maga supporters. On Friday’s (January 10) Morning Joe, Scarborough and former RNC chair Michael Steele got into a heated debate after the former praised Barack Obama for being friendly with Trump at Jimmy Carter‘s funeral. On the latest episode of The Don Lemon Show podcast, the former CNN This Morning co-host referenced a comment made by The New Yorker’s Susan Glasser during the Morning Joe discussion. Glasser warned against too much “civility,” comparing it to Vladimir Putin’s rise in Russia. “Do you guys understand what she said? Do you guys get what she said?” Lemon said, per Mediaite. “They’re trying to make people civil,...

As the results of Election Night 2024 became known, Brian Williams looked to the future. ”Our country is about to change again,” he told viewers of a news special he was hosting on Amazon Prime Video, with a diorama of a highway lane placed behind him. “And life, of course, goes on. Hell, my next gig is to emcee our firehouse annual dinner on Saturday night in New Jersey, my hand to God.”
Williams and others like him may have more to look forward to than hosting community potlucks.
Amazon has been holding exploratory talks about possible news concepts, according to four people familiar with the matter, a sign that the streaming and e-commerce giant sees a chance for news to bolster its economics, even as traditional players in the space are grappling with tougher times. CNN, ABC News, CBS News and NBC News have all cut staff in recent months,...
