Brenda James(I)

Brenda James recently finished production on the true crime thriller "Dorothea," directed by Chad Ferrin. She is best known as the Brenda Blob monster in the Cult Classic "Slither," directed by James Gunn. Her sci-fi roles include Dr. Katie Brown in Stargate Atlantis, playing Rodney McKay's love interest, and "Outer Limits" and "The Dead Zone" with Anthony Michael Hall and Ally Sheedy. Featured guest star roles include "The Practice" re-occurring guest, as Liz Porter in the MTV boy band spoof series "2Gether". Her first feature was co-starring alongside Brad Pitt in the slasher movie "Cutting Class" and her first series was "Safe at Home" playing the ditsy Amy Holmes. Originally from Canada, Brenda makes her home in Hollywood, California.
