One of the best suspense drama. Had I Not Seen the Sun" is a devastatingly beautiful series that explores the depths of human suffering and the hope for redemption. The chemistry between the leads is haunting, and the dark, psychological plot kept me hooked. It's a melancholic masterpiece that will stay with you long after the credits roll.

A little too much for me. Too many plot twist and too many bad things always happening. Honestly, just kept watching for the main male character (Li Jen-ya) story but reading the plot made me think it was going to be more mystery with a documentary style story. Instead we get a very "novela" vibe that is more focused on the past and the mystery of Chiang Hsiao-tung.

Part one stressed me out from all the bad things that keep happening. Part two had me thinking "really?" with all the plot twist. Some of the characters are enjoyable and it's not a horrible show as it was well done. I just think I'm a little too old for stories like this now.

This is my first Taiwanese series, and I really like it. It starts slow, but gradually gets more intense and interesting.

Lately, IMHO, K-Dramas wènt off the rails a bit, too much cheap romance and comedy - and this show is completely different, it's immersing and engaging.

I cannot elaborate about the plot, for the risk of spoiling - but I highly recomend it, it's hard hitting subject, involving difficult issues, with a bit of fantasy mixed in.

This drama definitely deserves a 10 rating. This is not the kind of drama that will spoon feed everything to the viewers. You must take your time and watch all of the 20 episodes and engage in discussion or self reflect after each episodes. Some scenes will be gut wrenching to watch but you must watch it. This drama clearly depicts the struggles with mental illness and how trauma can impact one's life deeply. It's definitely an excellent tell of how innocent people's lives can be a mess due to other folk's misfortune.

Although it started off rather slow and had some confusing scenes in it, this is actually a very good series. It's worth the wait and the patience for Part two. Although there were parts of part two that were actually confusing it actually clears itself up if you continue to watch. I recommend this series. It's a good weekend watch.
