This series it's about domestic violence and psychologic abuse .
With a great story and some really amazing plots... Some people will say that its predictable but don't belive them.
Take some time to watch It, Trust me. You'll be entertained and amazed and sometimes you'll be horrified with the human capacity.

"Two desperate souls. One desperate choice,"
As You Stood By isn't just another murder mystery-it's a raw, emotional look at how trauma shapes choices and the unbreakable yet fragile bond between women who share the same pain. Every episode feels like reading a page from a beautifully tragic love letter.
The very dark subject matter won't be for everyone. For some, it will hit too close to home - in one way or the other.
Overall, it was a really good thriller with a dark and tense atmosphere. If you are prepared for a drama that puts a strain on your heart and conscience, then the As You Stood By series is definitely worth your time.

Being a survivor of donestic abuse, this was a hard watch for me in many episodes but it is so true to life...the reality behind closed doors in far too many households. Lee-Yoo mi is superb in her role as is Jeon So-nee and Jang Seung-jo is SO good as the abusive & controlling husband. I binge watched it as I was hooked from the start of it. I highly recommend this series & bravo to the producers, director & actors for such a brutally honest portrayal of a subject that is still too taboo globally!

This series is dark. I mean, really dark. Not just visually, but deep down, psychologically and emotionally.
It instantly yanked me in. I was completely obsessed with the main character's life. Once the show revealed their childhood trauma, everything about their present clicked into place. Suddenly, all their struggles made awful, perfect sense.
The acting performances are raw and devastating, grounding every painful moment in reality. The way the narrative is built is brilliant. The pacing is spot-on, and getting to see the scenes from multiple perspectives just hammers the whole truth home.
The genius here is that it's not just about physical abuse; it's about the psychological warfare. The pain doesn't stop when the hitting stops-it's always after. And this series understands that completely. Trauma leaves a wound that never truly closes.
I genuinely just want to hug every woman who has survived abuse. The show exposes how tragically normal this problem has become, and how incredibly hard it is to intervene. It leaves you asking: How do we step in without making things worse for the person already suffering? This is a necessary, powerful, and impeccably directed piece of a story.

As You Stood By is honestly one of the most beautiful dramas I've ever watched. The storyline hits right in the heart full of emotions, healing, and moments that made me cry like crazy. Every episode left me feeling something different, and I couldn't stop watching.
And don't even get me started on Jo Eun So and Jin So Baek. Their chemistry is unreal, every glance, every small gesture made me blush nonstop! The way they bring the characters to life feels so natural, it's impossible not to fall for them. This drama is pure magic. Totally worth every tear and every smile.
