The Reckoning isn't a series you simply watch - it confronts you. What shocked me most was the scale of the damage Sean Combs left behind: people he traumatized, manipulated, drugged, abused, and emotionally destroyed. From everyday individuals to cultural icons like Biggie, Tupac, and Cassie, nearly everyone in his orbit seemed trapped in a chokehold they couldn't escape. As someone who mostly knew Diddy from his music and TV presence, these four episodes were eye-opening. I had heard fragments of these stories before, but never with this level of detail. This documentary finally connected the dots in a way that's hard to shake.
What becomes painfully clear is that this wasn't just about fame - it was about power. Combs appeared obsessed with controlling everything and everyone around him, almost playing God in people's lives. The behavior shown in the documentary often mirrors what many would describe as narcissistic patterns: entitlement, manipulation, a need for dominance, and a complete disregard for the harm done to others. You can't help but watch and think: this looks a lot like someone driven by extreme narcissism. Seeing it laid out so openly is disturbing in a way that sits with you long after the episode ends.
The social media hype, especially fueled by 50 Cent, added another layer. Their tension has lasted over twenty years, and many assumed this would feel like a revenge project. But surprisingly, it doesn't come across that way. Instead, it feels like long-overdue accountability finally catching up to someone who avoided it for decades. Throughout the series, I couldn't escape the line from 50's "Many Men": "What goes around, comes around."
In the end, The Reckoning is a chilling study of power, ego, and the human cost of one man's pursuit of absolute control. It will open eyes, start conversations, and probably ignite new controversies. For now, all we can do is watch how the fallout unfolds. For me, the documentary earns a solid 8 - raw, unsettling, and necessary.

While most of us know that 50 Cent (the exec producer of this doc) has had a long-time issue with Sean (and after watching the 4-hour film, I think we can find it easy to understand why anybody would have trouble with Combs), I found this to be anything but retaliatory. The content is objective and respectful of facts, even when these facts didn't make sense, such as the jury's ultimate decision. It is tough to see so much unfairness, both in big business as well as domestic abuse situations, but this documentary helped us understand how it came to be, even though we hated it. We all read tons on the infamous 'freak-outs' and though they are mentioned, they are not how I had understood them to be, i.e., several guests helping themselves to young women Puff had invited. There were reports of secluded hallways leading to this area of debauchery. None of this was shown in the doc, while news articles had led us to believe they were rampant. One smallish picky thing is the speed at which the text was left on the screen with real-life updates on the trial and lawsuits, I for one could not keep up and got fed up freezing the screen to read all the text through.
I bet 50 couldn't wait to get hold of this footage. 🤣🤣🤣
It's "mostly" footage that's been shown before. But it's another scathing documentary about his rise to fame.
His involvement in the deaths of Biggie and Tupac.
And he literally paid for the murder of Tupac. We know this now. We always suspected he might have had something to do with it.
It also puts the Rap Awards, Suge Knight's infamous speech; "If you don't want your producer, all up in your videos, dancing behind, COME TO DEATH ROW!" Makes sense. Nobody at Bad Boy was getting paid. And they saw that Death Row were.
This shows a dangerous man. And what power can do to the people around them.
I never saw Puffy as a rapper, and he definitely didn't come from the streets!
50 months isn't enough time.
50 Cent is hilarious.
He knew about the dark side of this man.
Talking about himself being Jesus!
A man of God. Lol. Do me a favour.

Seems like everyone was in a hurry to publish their own documentaries, because they probably knew that when 50 does it, it will be game over. He has been preparing this for decades and, oh boy, he delivered. This is the one to watch. This is where things are explained the way they should be. The timeline is perfect. You don't have a feeling that anything was left out and there probably was, but, this is Combs's story in a nutshell. No spoilers. Just watch it all in one sitting.
THEY LET HIM OFF!!! Sean P Diddy Combs is objectively one of the biggest POSes of our time. I was mad when the verdict first came out but watching the doc and going over everything that happened, those "not guilty" verdicts made me even more mad. That one woman juror was literally fangirling over diddy and his work she should have never been allowed to serve- definitely not impartial.
He beat the you know what out of Cassie, that poor girl. Where is the Justice for her and all the other victims of diddy??! The jury should feel ashamed for their decision for the rest of their lives, knowing someday they will have to face the Creator and answer to Him. Diddy too. Shameful all around.
But great job 50 telling this story!! Mad props there.

Lo sapevi?
- QuizCassie Ventura, Combs's former partner, was invited to participate in the series, but declined. However, 50 Cent stated that he personally spoke with Ventura and her husband, Alex Fine, "to understand how things transpired" with Combs.
