Currently on ep 3. To my taste maybe a little too much character development, but I get the point and the style. I was only 9 when this happened, but it takes me back to that time, to the freedom that these kids felt at the time.
Even though these are fictional characters, I could see them actually being real. Depictions were on spot.
I could see quite a few translation mistakes (English subtitles) though. Not that it would affect the drama or the storytelling but as Argentinian, sometimes I feel that the actual feeling of the phrase is lost with a bad translation.
I highly recommend watching documentaries as mentioned by other reviews. Stories are even more tragic than seen (at least so far for me)

I watched all eight episodes of this true life series.
Initially it is quite slow and a lot of time is spent on character development, lives of various people which ultimately makes sense as the series progresses.
The second half of the series improves a lot and you become more involved in the reality and devastating reason of why the series was made in the first place. The acting was good (particularly the father/lawyer) and believable even though some were fictitious one can imagine not so far from what could be real life victims and situations. Although I feel that time spent on kids and their bands (not the disaster) should have been more limited and more time spent on the court case would have improved the series.

As an argentine man, who lives just 15 blocks away from the place where this tragedy took place, I can tell you that this series depicts very well what happened THAT DAY.
The producers of the show did a great job by adding fictional and multi-personal storylines which made the plot even more engaging.
They managed the flashbacks, flashforwards and then just the present time in a balanced way.
As for the controversial band, "Callejeros", it's a shame that due to legal and copyright issues they were not able to use their original tracks fully and constantly but that doesn't mean that you won't be able to listen to great argentina rock & roll masterpieces such as Jovenes Pordioseros, Ratones Paranoicos and much more!
I highly recommend viewers to watch some real footage and documentaries about Cromañon (Damian Kuc's channel is a great choice)
All in all, great show but could've been way better with original Callejeros band music and maybe less clichés such as X person falling in love with Y person or X person being saved magically while Y just suffers the opposite fate.
RIP, our dear Cromañon victims!
