This is part of the plot from the Hallmark Christmas movie "Debbie Macomber's Dashing Through the Snow," which also stars Meghan Ory.
At the time this movie first airs, John Reardon (Ethan Crane) and Kevin Hanchard (Porter Bryant) also star together in the popular Canadian TV series 'Hudson & Rex'.
