The 34-year-old singer confirmed on her Instagram Story on Wednesday (August 6) that she needs to take some time away to heal from a procedure.

“I’ve been quietly dealing with some vocal challenges for a while now. And after a lot of back and forth with my doctors, I’ve been told I need vocal surgery immediately,” she wrote.

“They found a noncancerous growth on one of my cords that’s been messing with my voice and causing real discomfort. Thankfully, we caught it & it’s treatable — but it does mean I need to pause and give myself time to fully heal.”

Rap metal duo Ho99o9 (pronounced “horror”) have pulled back the curtain on their third album, Tomorrow We Escape, out September 9th, unveiling the tracklist, artwork, and another new song.

La 72ª edición del Festival de Cine de San Sebastián contará con una notable presencia de cineastas, actores, guionistas y productoras de renombre que se darán cita en la ciudad.

The Mission: Impossible actress - who will play Sue Storm/Invisible Woman in the Marvel Studios reboot - was asked for an update on production on the red carpet of the Eden world premiere, and while she didn't share anything particularly exciting, it sounds like things are going very well and "Marvel's First Family" are all getting on as well as one would hope.

Lotte Entertainment comedy “Pilot” flew to a second weekend on top of the South Korean box office with $5.03 million haul and nearly half of the nationwide theatrical haul.

Data from Kobis, the tracking service operated by the Korean Film Council (Kofic) showed the title with a 46% share of the market over the Friday-Sunday period. After 12 days on release, it has a cumulative total of $20.3 million, earned from just over three million admissions.

Korean produced kids animation film “Heartspring: Teenieping of Love” took second spot on its opening weekend, with $1.74 million. After a full five-day release session, it has a total of $2.68 million.

“Deadpool & Wolverine” earned $842,000 in third place, boosted by premium large format screenings. After three weekends on release in Korea, it has accumulated $14.2 million. That makes it the eighth ranked title this year in Korea and the fourth highest import.

“Despicable Me 4” took second place with $2.42 million, representing 20% of the nationwide weekend total. Over its five-day opening run, the film earned $3.98 million.

Overall box office at the weekend was $12.2 million, a week-on-week improvement of 17%. But final figures for July are likely to significantly lag those of last year, when “Elemental,” “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1” and “Smugglers” were the top titles.

“Escape,” a Korean-made action drama that has been on release for most of the month, took the lead at the South Korean box office over the latest weekend.

The upbeat tune showcases Kotzen’s ability to command the mic and lead guitar simultaneously. Disney’s “Inside Out 2” held very strongly in its fourth weekend of release in South Korea to reach a cumulative score of $48 million.

It earned $6.30 million between Friday and Sunday, earned from 906,000 ticket sales, according to data from Kobis, the tracking service operated by the Korean Film Council (Kofic). That represented a week-on-week decrease of just 11%. And the film held on to a powerful 43% market share in its fourth week.

Its $48.1 million cumulative total from 6.92 million ticket sales cements “Inside Out 2’s” position as the third-highest film of the year behind “Exhuma” and “The Roundup: Punishment.” And it has a score close to double that of fourth-placed “Wonka,” on $24.6 million.

Daily chart data showed “Inside Out 2” being bested on Wednesday by new Korean release “Escape,” but the new film’s lead was not sustained. “Escape” earned $3.64 million over the weekend and $5.01 million over its opening five-day run.
