Rekha is a total waste of time, because there is no story to start with. The main character Rekha was portrayed well by the main lead, however, the film fails in keeping up with the story line. I felt like this movie was created just to showcase the main lead's stunt skills. Kasaragod slang was a surprise but not a boost for the movie.
Majority of the scenes in the movie focused on building up a big mystery but it came out too predictable. Obscene amounts of cursing made it look like the director is trying too hard to get into the 'new trend' genre. In a nut shell, this move can definitely be skipped because there is nothing new if you already watched 22 f kottayam.

Rekha is a well written revenge story. But, it just didn't work for me. Maybe this is my inherent bias, but I really don't like Vincy Aloysius's acting. And in this movie, there were times went she, let's say, went full psycho, which wasn't really required for the role. Other times she held fort, but those moments really spoiled it for me. The male protagonist was okay, so we're the rest of the characters. Another criticism was that the movie was unnecessarily slow and laggy in parts where it didn't need to be. Also, the transformation of the male lead into the villain was quite abrupt and incomplete, I felt Roshan Andrews's character in Kappela was better written and executed. This felt like a bit of a miss. Had high hopes, but wasn't happy with this movie.
Cinematography carries the movie. And maybe a little bit of her acting. Could've been a short film- 40mins. You don't get too much backstory and character understanding. It felt like everyone was cartoonized.
The colors were beautiful. Acting from her was interesting. Wish we got to know the characters more for how long the film was. Very average otherwise.
The movie is extremely slow. 10 mins for each sentence slow. The main climax had no believability either. It just felt like they picked something random and went with it to drive the whole plot. Definitely a movie you'll totally forget or remember because it was so painfully slow.

Jitin Isaac Thomas, the director and writer of the film has managed to make everything beautiful in the way a small story can be made beautiful. The film managed to hold the me for two hours with a thrilling script and variety in the making.
Another highlight of the film is the powerful screenplay. The film proceeds without giving a clue as to what will happen next.
The cinematographer has been able to capture the life and lifestyle of Rekha perfectly. The kasargod style dialogues add some freshness to the story.
Vincy Aloysious' & Unni Lalu's exceptional performance and the good script make Rekha a profound thriller and a must-watch.

It's hard to describe Rekha's effect because the movie was quite intense😳 It was a display of excessive fury mixed with passionate love and insanity
DELICIOUS
Rekha was so different from Jithin's Freedom Fight and Attention Please as it delved into young women's inner being and unleashed a power never before seen on screen
We got to experience Rekha's fighting soul and sheer determination to defy society's norms of the typical woman.
Even her dress code made a bold statement about her conservative values and modern/fierce attitude. The name 'Rekha' itself (meaning 'line') showed that if anyone crossed her limits, she was going to wake up the sleeping beast in her
All the actors performed fantastically, kudos to Vincy and Unni who held the ship together👊🏾 We believed all the emotions they released: fury, passionate love, lust, disgust, rage, anguish, and insanity (is insanity an emotion?🤔)
The camera's diverse movements and angles elevated the film's dimension by giving us more insights into how Rekha was feeling and the eerie environments.
The soundtracks were superb! They started out with calming voices and vibes, then increased the momentum by switching to hard rock as the scenes became more intensive
'Rekha' was an important wake-up call for young women who succumb to the pressure of being in relationships and for women who let society define them
BLAND
Our little negative was the extent to which intimacy and nudity were shown deflating the great energy the movie possessed and not serving much of a purpose.
