The series takes place at the start of the High Republic era, which is set 200 years before The Phantom Menace. The final episode of the first season overlaps with events depicted in the first book in the High Republic publishing program, "Light of the Jedi", written by Charles Soule and published in January 2021.

She also voiced Luminara Unduli in Genndy Tartakovsky's Star Wars: Clone Wars (2003) micro-series.
