My son loves this show, and for good reasons. The colors, voice acting, animation and sound are all great for a younger audience and the stories and messages presented in each episode will really resonate with him and other kids whenever gets a little older. As adults, we should get rating this show based on how children will react to the show and enjoy it. Of course any good show has to be entertaining to their parents as well, and I can confidently say that there's a plethora of very annoying and mindless shows for children out there and this show isn't one of them. I obviously won't watch it by myself, but I'll have no problem turning it on for my kid.
This was a fun show to watch with my son, it is light and fun for kids. This is a great way to introduce kids into the SWU without all the violence or adult themes. Yet it teaches kids all the things you need to know about jedi, ships and the various worlds culture, food and people that will peak their interest.
The animation is good, very colorful and well geared towards kids. The attention to detail like fur, vegetation and dirt/ rust on ships is well done. The voice actors do a good job portraying their characters in which you can buy into one.
Recommend for kids and parents wanting to share their love of Star Wars.

Just wanted to provide a counter to some of the outrageously dim reviews on here.
Firstly, this show is simple fun that manages to capture some of the magic, adventure and sense of infinite possibility that Star Wars is always about.
That being out of the way - some of the comments written by adults on here are painful to read. The sort who want to watch everything Star Wars but are critical of it all by default. Don't get me wrong - I myself don't rate 3 or 4 of Disney's newer Star Wars shows and films, but that doesn't blind me to the fact this specific show is clearly not designed for me, and that in itself doesn't justify a low rating.
Coming here to criticise a show for 5 year olds for being "illogical"...? The only excuse for an adult to write such tripe is severe learning disabilities. Sparing that, perhaps reconsider your entire personality.

Just because of Master Yoda, who appears in his younger years, one should watch this series.
The title and storytelling are naturally tailored so that the youngest can easily follow the action, animated in great, vibrant colors. Particularly appealing is that each plot contains a meaningful and valuable message in Jedi style at the end. The action is not lacking either, all well-balanced and as non-violent as possible, of course.
The animated series fits into the official Star Wars canon and takes place during the High Republic era. So it's also suitable for Star Wars moms and dads. Absolutely worth watching.

I decided to watch this as an adult with no children. I can appreciate kids shows like theses as I tend to watch them through the lens of someone who still enjoys nostalgic kids shows from when I was young. I can also appreciate good lessons for kids told in a meaningful way to a series. Watching this knowing the target audience and comparing it to shows similar to when I was a little one is how I tried to judge it.
Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures is very good. I give it 9/10. They did a good job of making it feel like Star Wars but with life lessons for kids. I found the action perfect for the target audience. This definitely a good show to introduce the Star Wars universe to a little youngling of your own. It has good morales to teach, still has Star Wars action like lightsaber training and fights but for kids, and is entertaining.
My only reason for it being a 9/10 and not a 10/10. Is it isn't perfect. As an adult there are some things that made me cringe a little but it's more just jokes that I've heard tons of times that kids probably would enjoy. I'm only holding it one point off because of that. However I fully admit I'm fairly certain kids would enjoy the jokes. The show just uses some tropes and jokes we've all seen used in older kids shows.
