Zombie 100 - Cento cose da fare prima di non-morire

Zombies are serious business and I prefer it with a dose of action and grit. Trying to merge zombies with slapstick and romcom is a slippery slope. Zombieland is probably the best attempt at such a movie. This movie started out well but loses steam and given the plethora of zombie movies out there uses the predictable nuances of zombie movies and therefore offers nothing new to the viewer. The role of the heroine is very underdeveloped and the portrayal of the heroes in eastern movies are one dimensional. If you are bereft of choice and finances to accesss a good movie, this movie will occupy you for two hours. However it is like fast food, it stills the hunger but does not contribute to the dietary requirements. Give it a skip.

People who don't watch Japanese Cinema or people who wants deep philosophical meaning in a fun movie should watch scorsese not this. I am a Hollywood fan but Japanese Cinema has it's charm... Over the top Energy and all around fun time. From Alice in Borderland to confessions to kamikaze girls... Japanese cinema is such unique experience... So stop listening to such fake so called cinephiles... And enjoy this. It's just a great popcorn flick with fun time all around! And Yes all the other japanese cinema that I named here. You should check them out too. Japan is not just about anime but cinema is great too. Akira Kurosawa was legend who inspired everyone... Yet Japanese cinema is still underrated due to people being ignorant or like negative comments... Not understanding the difference between fun film and serious film.

I am 100% certain that this movie is a plain and loyal adaption from a Japanese anime. With respect, there could be no one on Earth, other than the Japanese, that could have such a culture and write such a story. Consider it as a compliment, guys. Everything is so original and yet so foreign. So here is my 5 cents: If someone is not into Japanese culture, then that a movie could be skipped for sure. Otherwise give it a greenlight as it is really exotic.

Nothing makes sense in the movie. I know zoms don't make any good sense neither. But if you compare it with other zom movies or series like Army of the Dead, La Revolution or Kingdom on Netflix, then your can easily see that the whole plot fell flat from most aspects. What is worse, the acting really forced me to roll my eyes up. Many times i squeezed my eyebrows and asked myself: What'a hell is that??? The dialogues are so cliche that I really wonder if the Japanese would say that in real life? Really, talk about philosophy in a fierce argument? I switched to Eng dub coz I really can't tolerate their dialogue tone. The Japanese dub has such an exaggerated tone!

I gave it 5 stars coz it is so original and so different from the other zom movies. It's fun to watch. Its very exotic. However, to be honest it's no way a superb contender in the zombie genre.

Opens strong but slows down after 45 minutes. Gets to be quite boring unlike dawn of the dead. It's suppose to be funny but it isn't. Zombies seem to suddenly stop running and get stupider as the days go by. It's ok if you have a couple of hours on your hand but not worth a rewatch. Acting was ok but nothing great. I never felt a connection to any of the main characters. Make up of the zombies was top notch however. Ending was also very predictable. There are far more better zombie films out there. And the bucket list probably wouldn't be on the top ones list if they were in the middle of zombie apocalypse. Just saying.

Most of live action that adapted from book and anime are end up dissapointing. This one is not an exception. My expectation is low since the format is a movie, while the zoom-100 manga is a series, so there will be a lot of part will be cut, but oh holy shittt, it's even worse than i expect.

At first it is decent, the cinematography is vibrant, help to set the mood, but as time goes by, it's clear the director has no clear vision where it should go. The zombie is so slow and easy to fight , where is the thrilling part? The plot is questionable like why don't they have police or soldier to protect people in the dangerous situation. And bruh the hell is shark zombie with leg. The acting is either flat and dull or overreact, there is no in between. Among the 4 main roles, only the uncle one who can act,the rest need to go back to acting school

It supposed to be fun, but it lost every element that supposed to make it into enjoyable. It's cringey snozefest at the best. What a waste of time.
