I'm getting tired and bored with Hollywood producing these silly, weak plot movies. This movie was both corney & silly. And to think... it's been given the opportunity to appear on Netflix. There wasn't one thing anout the story line or cast that warranted Netflix... or are they too just settling and buying any o'l thing (like Tyler Perrys, Mea Culpa 😖) Aside from the actor/husband to be (B. J. Britt) all of the acting was bad. The characters (like the hotel staff) was horrible. The jokes weren't funny. And the fake location was telling.

If Hollywood is gonna start producing junk like this, then they need to lift the harsh stipulations they put on new writers (with really great material I may add) who are trying to get their work seen & produced. OR how about just hire people who actually "know" how to decipher between good content & trash.

Why would someone write a movie about an entire bridal party gaslighting the bride?! This was absolutely horrible. Parts that should've been funny were cringy. And parts that the writer tried to make sweet, gave I hate the bride. Because why wouldn't everyone, including the fiance make sure she was happy about her day? That man said let's set boundaries and not one was put in place to ensure her day was special. No one stood up for her and half-a** apologized for another grown person's behavior. I think my checkout point was the wedding dress that was ruined. No, when the bridal suite was given away. Yeah, this is a 0/10 will never recommend it. No, like seriously take this down from streaming services it's giving I hate black women.

This movie was painful and obvious. The bride was being hushed and dismissed so much it's disgusting. Not funny and this was borderline mentally and emotionally abusive. Marie was intrusive, disrespectful, and crossed all boundaries. And her best friend was so insensitive. The gaslighting, the CRINGE!!! Why was she not allowed to have her way for her own wedding? She was made to feel wrong about that woman totally ruining HER weekend and it's disgusting. I hate this movie, this is not a comedy, it's triggering. Whoever came up with this, huge fail. Waste of some amazing actors talents. Seriously.

Whoever wrote this and directed it was very in touch with toxic masculinity and extremely out of touch with progressive, conscious interpersonal relationships. A movie where the bride was silenced and gaslit into being abused and disrespected continuously. Very hard to watch, we honestly almost didn't finish it, but it was like a train wreck, we couldn't look away. The music is atrocious and almost makes a person want to rip their eyeballs out. It reminded me of a Lifetime movie, very driven by the patriarchy, no depth, and completely nonsensical. I love the actors, they did a great job with what they were given. So this is nothing against them. A word of advice for the creators in charge, romcoms that are original and up to speed with at least the current median vibration of intelligence, are likely to fair better in an exponentially evolving world.

I hated this movie. Not only was most of the acting in it absolutely terrible but there wasn't anything funny at all that occured in it. The main character of the story (the bride) is repeatedly dismissed whenever she dares to draw attention to the very real problems the antagonist of the movie is causing her. It just comes across as misogynistic and for a newer Netflix title that's extremely disappointing. The big names who probably drew you in are either hardly seen or when they are the scene just falls flat. I watched 50 minutes of it and even that was too much. No laughs to be found here and certainly nothing interesting. Give this a miss.
