I'm getting tired and bored with Hollywood producing these silly, weak plot movies. This movie was both corney & silly. And to think... it's been given the opportunity to appear on Netflix. There wasn't one thing anout the story line or cast that warranted Netflix... or are they too just settling and buying any o'l thing (like Tyler Perrys, Mea Culpa 😖) Aside from the actor/husband to be (B. J. Britt) all of the acting was bad. The characters (like the hotel staff) was horrible. The jokes weren't funny. And the fake location was telling.

If Hollywood is gonna start producing junk like this, then they need to lift the harsh stipulations they put on new writers (with really great material I may add) who are trying to get their work seen & produced. OR how about just hire people who actually "know" how to decipher between good content & trash.

Whoever wrote this and directed it was very in touch with toxic masculinity and extremely out of touch with progressive, conscious interpersonal relationships. A movie where the bride was silenced and gaslit into being abused and disrespected continuously. Very hard to watch, we honestly almost didn't finish it, but it was like a train wreck, we couldn't look away. The music is atrocious and almost makes a person want to rip their eyeballs out. It reminded me of a Lifetime movie, very driven by the patriarchy, no depth, and completely nonsensical. I love the actors, they did a great job with what they were given. So this is nothing against them. A word of advice for the creators in charge, romcoms that are original and up to speed with at least the current median vibration of intelligence, are likely to fair better in an exponentially evolving world.

Poorly written and/or edited. So many things didn't make sense, and the flow was disjointed. I was left with questions that I really didn't care enough to know the answers to. The parting in Ashanti's wig stole the show for me as my eyes were automatically drawn to it's odd coloring every time she was in a scene. The single exception was the scene where they were waiting for Marshall to arrive so they could eat. Definitely needed some color-matched concealer in that part! This would be another issue that would lend to this movie's Tubi-like feel. The acting itself wasn't horrible, but I was left feeling like maybe some key points may have been left on the cutting room floor...I would hope.

If I could burn the memory of this movie out of my mind, I would.

This left me feeling ragey with no resolve. I have never hated every single character of a movie before.

So many misses. So many stupid scenarios.

Nobody stood up for Ashanti's character. I don't know how she didn't turn this flop into a flip the eff out.

I normally don't review movies like this but I also try to avoid even watching a minute of movies like this. How do these get made? Why do these movies get made? I don't even feel like going through it....terrible writing. Terrible acting. Plot is ridiculous. I hated so many people in this. I hope you are reading this before you hit play and can actually go find something else. Anything else.i don't blame Cedric for being in this if he was handed a suitcase of money and told he has a couple scenes. I hope when I wake up tomorrow that the memory of this movie and even me writing this review will be gone from my memory.

This movie was painful and obvious. The bride was being hushed and dismissed so much it's disgusting. Not funny and this was borderline mentally and emotionally abusive. Marie was intrusive, disrespectful, and crossed all boundaries. And her best friend was so insensitive. The gaslighting, the CRINGE!!! Why was she not allowed to have her way for her own wedding? She was made to feel wrong about that woman totally ruining HER weekend and it's disgusting. I hate this movie, this is not a comedy, it's triggering. Whoever came up with this, huge fail. Waste of some amazing actors talents. Seriously.

I don't get the bad reviews. This was a fun and funny movie. Cedric the Entertainer is always a stand out, but the rest of the cast were wonderful. I wouldn't change a thing. Jonathan Bennett pulled off the difficult role of being a woman's BFF while also being a confused but manly guy. I liked all the characters, including the psycho plus one. This type of movie has been done before, but this one put a fresh and refreshing spin on it. Don't let the reviews stop you from watching it. I feel like some of these people took it far too seriously and were expecting Shakespeare or something. Just enjoy it!

Some moments were a little cringy but I stuck with it. It was decent. If you're watching this thinking Cedric is going to be in it in it, he's not. He was sprinkled in but completely absent from a few of the scenes.

As far as the writing goes, some scenes were rushed and Marie was far too annoying, like grow up annoying. Ashanti did a good job acting and singing but that song she sung was NOT a wedding song whatsoever. She was also gaslight by her fiancé throughout the entire movie, how was he not on her side???

I liked the Mom and Julissa. The ad placements were obnoxious but the brownie scene was funny. All in all, it got a few laughs out of me.

I hated this movie. Not only was most of the acting in it absolutely terrible but there wasn't anything funny at all that occured in it. The main character of the story (the bride) is repeatedly dismissed whenever she dares to draw attention to the very real problems the antagonist of the movie is causing her. It just comes across as misogynistic and for a newer Netflix title that's extremely disappointing. The big names who probably drew you in are either hardly seen or when they are the scene just falls flat. I watched 50 minutes of it and even that was too much. No laughs to be found here and certainly nothing interesting. Give this a miss.

This was THEE cheesiest, most useless movie I've ever seen! Total waste of money & time to have made this junk. I really don't understand what was the point of this horrendous movie and even more, I'm amazed that it was actually green lit to production. If there's an award for the most horribly written & most horribly acted movie, this is it! This movie had to have been written when the writers strike was going on because what in thee entire heck was that!?! I was looking forward to Cedric the Entertainers role and I was terribly disappointed. Ashanti isn't the best off actresses, but this role took down her acting cred at minimum, ten notches. If I could give zero stars, that's what it would get.

What did I just watch???? Honestly, I like some of these actors outside of this dumb movie! This is trash and I wish I could unsee it.............. don't be fooled by the names attached to this. I recommend you to skip this one, it's so cringy! Complete waste of time. I can't believe so many people agreed to this mess. The writing is horrible. The storyline seems like it was written by a 4 year old. I haven't watched a movie this bad in all of my adulthood. I'm 32.

I can't express how annoyed I am for watching this. I seriously can't believe the stars that are apart of this mess. I could've written a more interesting plot!

I enjoy everything about this movie.. It was funny and entertaining and I enjoy Sid he entertainer and Ashanti. Moreover it's a great movie to watch with your family for the holiday season. It's light-hearted and funny and filled with the typical bridezilla format.

Sid the entertainer has been in countless movies as well as a excellent stand-up comedian. Ashanti is a Grammy award-winning artist who has several accolades as well, And she's been in several Hallmark movies as well as motion pictures with Samuel l Jackson, including her performances at the Macy's Day parade. The entertainer has been on death jam comedy and it's just an extraordinary talent.

This really isn't as bad as people are saying it is.

The acting is pretty good for the majority of the characters, though stiff at times. The conflicts aren't that intriguing- simple and lacking nuance, but I quite liked the characters ( The dad, and the brother especially ). The only thing that really negged me was Marie, probably needed more history as to why people were making allowances for her yet didn't like her either.

The ending was corny, but it is a romcom(?) so no surprise there.

Definitely some illogical things for the sake of plot convenience, but nothing so egregiously bad.

It wasn't that bad IMO.

Cedric is barely in the movie. I was very disappointed with the acting and it was downright unacceptable how they treated the bride (Ashanti). I made an account just to leave this review. There was no comedy and it was not funny at all. I was more annoyed and angered by all the horrible treatment the bride received. The bride didn't get anything she wanted and they let the friends girlfriend walk all over her and do way too much. I do not recommend and I don't know how this got produced. The music was overbearing as welll. Do not waste your time watching this trash. There were no good aspects of the film.
