Interesting 80s vibe

Funnily enough, the end credits are almost better than the whole rest of the movie.

Other than that, pretty predictable plots points, special effects are good though.

You will squint for days after watching

I know it's a low budget horror film and the rules are that you don't turn the lights because you will see the shonky effects. But, this is way too much.

Predictable stereotypes make it play out as you would expect.

Judgment day theme is not my favorite type of movie. Especially when it's on a budget and having no serious plot twist. The horror is kinda boring. The scares are only effective against 5 year olds. And the ending didn't give the audience any closure they deserve. The only good thing we can get from this movie is just the moral lesson. Which we can get from any other sources without having to go through the boredom.

Sometimes you just need some fun.

Really fun 80s set buddy movie (a stripper and a religious fanatic) with a dose of apocalyptic horror and two great leads. The two main actresses completely make the movie with their campy, but believable personalities and killer chemistry.

The movie screams to the 80's low budget horror fans and no one else. And that's ok. The best part for me, the ending, during the credits. Not the credits. But what's played during them. You know. The part no one ever watches.

Luke Boyce said one of the most difficult challenges they faced was finding merchandise and items to dress the adult bookstore set because all of the actual adult bookstores in town had closed during the pandemic quarantine. At one point, they talked to somebody who had a warehouse full of old adult-themed products they were going to bring in, but the day before filming was supposed to start, their contact just ghosted them and they couldn't get ahold of him.
