Originally advertised as featuring I Don't Scare (1956) and Il massacratore e Dr. Hyde (1954), these cartoons were ultimately replaced by Leave Well Enough Alone (1939) and La casa del sogno (1952). "I Don't Scare" would have fit well with the superstitious theme of the episode, but the mid-1950s color Popeye short was replaced with an earlier black & white Popeye short. The inclusion of "The Dog House" in place of the Sylvester cartoon marked this episode's lone Tom & Jerry short.
