During the cast reunion with Janet Hubert, Alfonso Ribeiro is nowhere to be seen. Ribeiro and Hubert have been at odds over the years, with very public rows: he spoke ill of her in a 2011 video and she bashed a 2017 picture of him, among other instances. Though Ribeiro says he wasn't present due to scheduling conflicts and Hubert confirmed this on social media, fans still suspect a mother-son ongoing feud in the Banks family.
A tribute to James Avery, who played Uncle Phil, was shown near the end of this reunion show. It was shown before Janet Hubert joined the rest of the cast on set.
