Wild Roses

I started watching The Wild Roses without noticing the date. I was really enjoying the show until the end of season one when I then realized it was from 2009. So no season 2 to look forward to. No closer!!! What a true disappointment.

Don't watch this truly good show because the unfinished ending will just really disappointment you.

Why would you cancel this series? .It is so good and you left us all hanging. It would be nice to see it come back. Not many good shows to watch anymore and the good ones get canceled. Very disappointed. I would really like to see if will and Maggie survived the explosion, I'm sure they would be hospitalized and in ICU. Please bring it back.

I just recently discovered this show. I binge watched the whole first season. With all the below par shows on TV recently I was unpleasantly surprised there was not more!

Wow. I must say I was blown away by what I found to be a really appealing cast. It's one thing to be good looking, but none of these characters brought the usual smugness that so often comes with the looks. It was so refreshing. The acting was really solid. And just when you think you've figured the story out, they throw you a good twist. I was really impressed. I mean, the story is simple enough, but they seem to have somehow warped the formula to make it more than the sum of its parts. It felt almost sincere. Especially for a Canadian drama. Could have fooled me. Better than most American ones, AND it looks great. So rare. Way to be CBC. It was my first episode but I'll be back. In fact I'll have to go backwards to see what I missed.

I was so happy watching this show it was great I can't believe there was only 1 season . I can't figure it out. I loved the actors they were wonderful. But, they leave you with such a cliffhanger that I'm not sure it was worth my 13 hours. Because now I want to get ahold of the writer and ask for an ending.
