Bad Movie Police Case #1: Galaxy of the Dinosaurs

Love this!!! OK, just kidding (sort of) . . . but I will confess my love for Lilith Stabs.

On a slightly more serious note (and only slightly), the concept for Bad Movie Police is great . . . no, fabulous!

My only complaint is that there are many more films equally as hideous (or worse) than the Galaxy of Dinosaurs which could surely rate the BMP's attention.

Make no mistake, Galaxy of Dinosaurs is truly unwatchable.

Really . . . trust me on this one, I can be remarkably tolerant of excruciatingly bad film productions, as a sort of esoteric artform.

Galaxy of Dinosaurs has no peers (as of yet) for a film production with absolutely no redeeming qualities of any kind, not even comedy status.

Plan 9 from Outer Space is a masterpiece of filmcraft compared to this bizarrely hideous production.

One can only wonder, was this some sort of hopelessly misguided college student production?

No, wait . . . that's unfair to many college class productions and the students who create them.

OK, high school production. Naw . . . that's not even fair to high school students.

As for Bad Movie Police, keep 'em coming!

Star rating? Zero (or less than zero) is not allowed? "1" will have to do . . .

I believe this is supposed to be comedy but then when you dress your two female leads in fetish cop uniforms should we expect bondage & fetish activity. Add to that riddle the fact that one of the cop girls is average looking but is a pretty good actress Ariauna Albright. The other Lilith Stabs has gained fame or attention as a professional dominatrix & model with a very good body more so than her very average acting ability. It could have been funny if Ariauna had a equally talented partner in the acting area OR it could have been fetish if Lilith had a partner who looked half as good as she does. In fact it was neither. Oh well.

Ariauna Albright is a really good actress but why she participated in this lame written travesty is a mystery. What could have been entertaining winds up as classic boredom. The unique thing about Ariauna is that she can act as well as look real sexy as opposed to her partner Lilith Stabs who looks fine but it is obvious she spent the money for acting school at the spa or beautician. This was a production that cried out for some T & A & with a imaginative script writer could have achieved it in the flow of things. However Ariauna does what she can under the circumstances & to a extent salvages her reputation. The Tempe company should be aware that when you dress two attractive women in skimpy fetish cop uniforms the viewers will expect some fetish play & T & A. Nough said.

Apparently no one seems to be getting that they should be voting on the BAD MOVIE POLICE episode on this page. GALAXY OF THE DINOSAURS had its own page on IMDb.com, so reviews of that film should go there. Viewers keep commenting on how funny the episode is, but how sucky the movie in question is...which is the point. In which case it seems the purpose of the episode has been fulfilled. So please remember when voting 1-10 (and I'm not saying you HAVE to love it) to vote for any of the BAD MOVIE POLICE episodes, and NOT for GALAXY OF THE DINOSAURS or any of the other films they represent.

For some additional point of interest in the episode, watch for in-jokes on Charlie Band (on a dart board), the alien suit from the laughable sci-fi "shocker" GROOM LAKE, the "Wanted" board containing pictures of various bad b-movie makers, other posters around the police office making fun of other b-movie disasters like ZOMBIE COP, plus cameos by current b-movie folks like Tanya Dempsey, Jeff Dylan Graham and more!

It is difficult to find any positives in this movie. Seems as though the producer needed to make a buck without much effort & hence we are treated to a full showing of Galaxy which is the lamest excuse for a movie in history. The police girls looked extremely sexy in their little uniforms. More action shots of the two cops & a lot less of Galaxy would have been the way to go. Of course that would add to the budget so they decided to fill the space with that wretched rerun. Ms Albright does excellent looking sexy & her acting is first rate. Ms Stabs whom I had heard of but not seen on screen before also looked very desirable but seems to lack basic acting talent. Apart from Ms Albright this is real garbage.
