Mahesh Kothare made the film with new comers Tushar Dalvi and Resham Tipnis in lead.His regular hero Laxmikanth Berde played second lead.The audience were then used to chemistry of Laxmikanth Berde and Mahesh Kothare in Mahesh Kothare directed films.They missed this aura in the film as Laxmikanth Berde was second lead and Mahesh Kothare was only directing the film hence the film didn't do well.
