The film marks the hindi debut of renowned Malayalam actor Innocent Vareed Thekkethala who plays the Colonel Nair & has provided his voice in Hindi as well. His next appearance (and last in Hindi) would be 8 years later in Malamaal Weekly (2006), which was also directed by Priyadarshan. However, the latter had actor Tiku Talsania dub over Innocent's lines in the final cut.
