One of the first films shot by renowned cinematographer László Kovács, credited here as Art Radford.
The film's producer, David F. Friedman, first met lead actress Stacey Walker during a lunch break on Santa Monica pier. She asked him to buy her a hot dog and said she'd been sleeping on the beach. He casted her in this and two other films.
Working titles for the film were "Man Eater" and "CT."
Available on DVD from Something Weird Video, transferred from highly damaged print with no restoration.
The shot of the newspapers being printed near the start of the film was stock footage that the filmmakers purchased.
