Certain home video releases presented the series in double-length episode format. These were formed by combining two episodes from the series, which were often non-sequential in terms of the original broadcast order. Some double-length episodes were given a new on-screen title to better reflect the combined content, while others used the title from just one of the comprising episodes.
With the series immediately following TNT's top-rated program, WCW Monday Nitro, WCW wrestlers Tonga Fifita and Bryan E. Clark II filmed separate appearances.
Kristanna Loken later went on to star in movie adaptations of video games BloodRayne (2005) and In the Name of the King (2007), both directed by Uwe Boll.
Daniel Bernhardt (Siro) ironically was previously Jean-Claude Van Damme stand in and stunt double. JCVD was the inspiration for the Johnny Cage character in the first Mortal Kombat (1992) game and was even asked to play him in the Mortal Kombat (1995) movie, but was already signed up to play Guile in Street Fighter - Sfida finale (1994). Had JCVD played Cage in the movie, Brendhart would have been part of the original MK movie. Bernhardt has replaced JCVD in Bloodsport 2 (1996), Bloodsport III (1996) and Bloodsport: The Dark Kumite (1999).
