This is the only feature film directed by Patrick McGoohan.

A supposedly lost feature film. Rediscovered in 2003 by David Spencer, Senior Film Curator at the University Of North Carolina School Of The Arts. When found and later screened it was titled "Jack Good's Santa Fe Satan". Jack Good, born 1931, is a pioneering British former television producer, musical theatre producer, record producer, musician.

Loosely based on Shakespeare's "Othello." Director Patrick McGoohan had previously played the Iago character in another update of the story with a musical background, "All Night Long" more than a decade earlier.

This was originally intended as a starring vehicle for Anthony Quinn.

The movie was taken out of director Patrick McGoohan's hands during post production by the producer Jack Good. Good had found religion and converted to Catholicism since the end of filming and he re-edited the film to add 18 minutes of religious material against McGoohan's wishes. McGoohan subsequently tried to take his name off of the film but failed. McGoohan later called the film "a disaster".
