Margaret Nolan appears in a single scene in which she tells Terry Scott's character Dr Prodd that despite her concerns about her 88-year-old husband's ability to conceive, she is now pregnant. She had originally written a letter to Gerald Thomas stating that she would be happy to work with him again in a Carry On film and was offered the part in a response two weeks later.
Madeline Smith proved popular with the crew, so Peter Rogers asked her to come back for Ragazze in camera (1972), but due to work commitments, she had to decline. The part went to Sally Geeson.
