I'm not sure how the rating is at 5 when all the reviews are 9/10. Show is funny, thought-provoking, insightful, well-thought out, and the characters are beautiful! Well done Lena!

Given the many POSITIVE written reviews left for the show compared to NO written reviews left for each episode themselves (only poor ratings) it's safe to say no one wants to give this show credit and want IMDB users to think this show is not worth watching. I'm here to tell you it is. Watching this show is easy! It's that good. I love how the characters are far from perfect, and can keep it real with each other, make up after a fight, be there for each other, give each other tough love. It's so real. The dialogue, the deep convos that come out of no where, the reality of dating and sexuality. I love Hattie! She engages everyone around her, even if it's a nonsexual relationship. She always has lines!!! But I guess that's why she's a writer lol. I love it! People obviously don't want to give BET credit where credit is due! THIS IS A GREAT SHOW!

Funny, everyday lives of friends and coworkers in Hollywood's film/tv industry. The script and music of the series are well thought-out, and the general aesthetic/directing is vibrant, aptly matching many of the show's characters. The recurring old Hollywood music references are an interesting detail.

This could and should have been a whole lot better given the talent of its stars and writing team. What happened? Too many cooks? 'LA Bore' would be a more appropriate title.

Loved the storyline development and nuances of the characters. Season one is a bit more chaotic and clunky, but I tried season 2 on a whim and wound up binge watching it. My boyfriend also really enjoyed and found it interesting. I'd say maybe skip to the second season if you're finding it hard to get into season 1. Anywho I'm looking forward to a third season 🙏🏽
