Queen Elizabeth II attended the very first Formula 1 World Champsionship race in 1950 with her father King George VI and sister Princess Margaret. Since then she hasn't attended once since she has been queen.
IMPORTANT NOTE: in the "cast" section only the drivers officially registered in each Grand Prix (that is, registered in qualifying and race, NOT in free practice) must be credited in each of the episodes; nobody else.
Despite appearing, many drivers consider Drive to Survive to be a blatant propaganda to blackmail the viewers into believing events that are manipulated and reconstructed just so to add drama, new viewers, and brainwash a mass of non F1 viewers. Lando Norris had once declared that some of his lines were scripted, taken out of context, and from different races, while Max Verstappen simply said that it's a lie that gives facts that are incoherent, and don't make sense with how they're pieced. In fact, certain dialogues sound AI generated, a fact that can be noticed by the voice tone, audio and even, the speech. Once the 7th season aired, the show and Neflix had been sued.
Most directors from the sport, are actually drivers from the GPA, aka the driver FIA. A service that constructed after the death of Ayrton Senna at the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix, with the only known director from the actual F1 team being Sacha Woodward Hill. Famous names include Michael Schumacher, Ralf Schumacher, Sebastian Vettel, Fernando Alonso, Jenson Button and more recently, Carlos Sainz Jr. The only driver to deny entry to the service was Jacques Villenueve, whom declared it as an interest to the drivers and not the entire F1 team. Despite signing in mid 2000, he'd resign in mid 2006, and his name is not listed on the list of chairmen, nor directors.
