Toward the last of the flashbacks of Oliver and Shane's dinner at Montaldo's, as they dodge the tricky issue of whether or not they are more than "just friends," in the background a piano plays the classic hymn "What A Friend We Have in Jesus."
The last movie (From the Heart) ends the day after Valentine's Day. In this movie Nikki says the anniversary of when she met her boyfriend was "coming up soon" and according to the lottery numbers their anniversary is on March 7. Shane and Oliver had their date on Saturday night and it seems most likely this movie starts on the Monday morning just after. Oliver also mentions they should start working on the horribly ripped and mangled mail which Shane reminds him they usually save for the end of the month. So this movie takes place pretty soon after the last movie but it could be just after Valentine's Day or it could be the beginning of March.
Lane Edwards who plays Lester in this installment of the Signed, Sealed, Delivered series also played Michael Wheeler in the S1 E8 Dark of Night episode of the series.
Gregory Harrison shared in an interview that fellow cast member Geoff Gustafson (Norman) is very scared of heights but tries to hide it. It took several days to complete all the filming on the street used for Dudley Curley's house and most of that time Norman is up in a tree. Each day it was a little harder to get Geoff up in the tree.
