The film was shot over the course of one weekend: Friday night, all day Saturday, and Sunday evening. The Saturday shoot lasted 20 hours to accommodate actress Katreeva Phillips. She was appearing in a play and could only be on set at certain times.

The apartment used in the movie belongs to the film's producers Travis W. Wood and Bradley J. Pecherek.

Lauren Kirkpatrick auditioned for the lead role and was nearly cast. She later acted as a body double for Katreeva Phillips while Phillips was off-set acting in a play.

Courtney Gwosdz was an original contender for the lead role when David Sowden was going to direct the film.

Principal photography began on March 4 - producer Bradley J. Pecherek's birthday.
