NAGRIK REVIEW- Finally watched the most anticipated and much talked movie of the season. It wasn't that much disappointing but wasn't that much impressive as well. When heard about the movie first time that movie has won so many awards and got too much appreciation,from that moment i was eagerly waiting for the trailer. Then after watching an impressive trailer i couldn't resist my excitement to watch movie. Obviously its classic movie and social movie so i wasn't expecting any kind of entertainment from movie. And after watching it i must say film fulfilled my expectations but not fully. Don't know why i am feeling 90% satisfied and 10% disappointed. May be because i was expecting a movie to be a masterpiece. May be that is why the movie might be awesome but my expectations made me to feel little bit disappointed. The story is simple which shows us the reality,the true face politicians and what is happening in our political field. And the efforts of a common man who trying to expose the truth of politicians. Story does not have anything new but screenplay is very tight which keeps us to edge of our seats. Last 10-15 minutes are eye opening but still i am not satisfied with it,i still think climax could have been better. Sound work is impressive,camera work is awesome but in some scenes its bad. It feels like it was moving and that disturbs us. May be director did it intentionally,who knows. Lets talk about acting,actually when you have multistarrer movie you can't talk about all actors. So lets talk about leading actors. Sachin Khedekar the main lead of the film,he is the soul of film he involved himself totally into the character. He proved,why he is one of the finest actor in Marathi industry,really he has done a great job,kudos for him. Other giant actors like Dilip Prabhavalkar,Sriram Lagu did what director wanted from them. Other star cast were awesome too. Acting department has no minuses to point a finger. Coming to the direction,heard the Director is a new comer but still he gave his best,we cant say movie is the best but have to admit,director gave his best. So Congo to him for his successful directorial debut. I cant finish the review without praising the music composer Sambhaji Bhagat,he gave his awesome music and lyrics here also,those who knows who is he will remember his songs for a long time. Final words film is really good if you are going to watch it with not so high expectations. Its too classic that masses wont like it but i am sure classes will give thumbs up. I am 10% disappointed with the film so i will say its not a must watch but everyone should watch it at least once,Go for it...7 * stars by me :)
