The Agency has cast a new actor to portray an agent during season 2. Despite that, it had already been revealed that the show's second season has added Christian Ochoa Lavernia, Clayne Crawford, Keanush Tafreshi, Medalion Rahimi, Raza Jaffrey, and Tessa Ferrer to the cast. Through its two-season run so far, Silo has sadly seen several main character deaths. It started with Allison Becker (Rashida Jones), who sacrificed herself to prove what she thought was the truth. Then, it was George (Ferdinand Kingsley), whose death was the precursor to Juliette (Rebecca Ferguson) looking into things at the silo. Deaths continued to abound in Season 1, including Holston Becker (David Oyelowo), Ruth Jahns (Geraldine James), and Sam Marnes (Will Patton).
This didn’t slow down in Season 2 as the body count continued with Judge Mary Meadows (Tanya Moodie), Terry Cooper (Matt Gomez Hidaka), and the latest season finale death that left fans reeling.

Sci-fi shows create unique circumstances where one or more scientific limitations in the present world have been broken. Some of the most bingeworthy sci-fi TV shows just dive into their worlds and provide exposition about the rules of their societies and the laws of nature in their universes. Not all shows go too deep with their lore, though, and some fun and lighthearted sci-fi shows are more invested in exploring the cool consequences of the sci-fi concept instead of focusing on how the sci-fi world works and how it came to be.
But, some sci-fi shows like to spend time on why their worlds came to be and focus on the mystery element of the science fiction. Some of the best British sci-fi shows of all time are all about the mysteries of the Universe. The characters try and figure out the various anomalies that made their world the way it is,...

In Apple TV+'s Silo, where most of the world's population has perished and the rest remain in an underground silo, most newcomers aren't exactly strangers. The exception is Steve Zahn's Solo, a reclusive man living in Silo 17 who Juliette meets on her journey outside Silo 18 in Season 2. Silo hasn't yet revealed much about Solo, keeping his storyline and importance to Juliette's journey a secret. But his one and only line in the official trailer is enough to show he's not a man to be crossed: "You try to open the door again, and I'm gonna kill you."

Silo had a strong start on Apple TV+, and out of the gate, the second season is just as enthralling. The sci-fi dystopian drama is based on the Hugh Howey set of novels, Wool, Shift, and Dust. The story follows a group of survivors who live in a community underground. The 144-level silo has a hierarchy just like the current world with the top brass on the upper levels and the menial workers down below. Everyone is warned that the outside is a vast wasteland and asking to go outside results in almost immediate death. A camera pointed outdoors proves just that, leaving residents fearful and obedient.
When an engineer from the lower level named Juliette (Rebecca Ferguson) starts questioning and investigating to uncover the truth, however, the result is devastating when shes forced to go outside herself. But against all odds, she survives thanks to a very specific modification to her suit.

2025 is slated to have several major blockbuster releases in the form of franchise sequels, reboots, and live-action adaptations. While 2024 featured considerably fewer major blockbuster releases compared to 2023's stacked lineup, 2025 is expected to have even more highly anticipated releases. At the time of writing, the biggest blockbuster releases of 2024 have been Inside Out 2 and Deadpool & Wolverine, the only two films to eclipse more than $1 billion at the worldwide box office.

Henry Cavill has several exciting projects coming out that range from franchise reboots to book-to-movie adaptations. Though Cavill is most known as one of the actors behind Superman or as the white-haired Witcher, his career extends beyond these two major roles. Cavill's first big movie role was in 2002's The Count of Monte Cristo. Just a few years later, he landed a recurring role in The Tudors. From there, Cavill began earning parts that put him at the very front of wildly popular franchises and IPs, starting with Man of Steel.
It is notable to add that Cavill is coming off of a rather strange time in his career. In 2022, it was announced that Cavill was leaving The Witcher after season 3. His reasons for exiting the show aren't entirely clear, but his departure was quite surprising. Soon after, Cavill's role as Clark Kent officially came to an end, as James Gunn...

As on-screen text reads, the U.S. responded to 9/11 by deploying troops to Afghanistan. As the number of troops rose across the next decade, the U.S. military employed Afghan interpreters under an agreement that they would be eligible for Special Immigration Visas and relocation to America. That work is seen as the film flashes to 2018, when a routine check ends with a vehicle explosion and lives lost.
Sergeant John Kinley (Jake Gyllenhaal) leads a unit whose mission is to locate Taliban firearms and munitions, which includes a replacement interpreter in the form of Ahmed (Dar Salim). While considerably disliked, the interpreter proves himself a valuable member as he deduces an ambush lurking ahead of the unit.

With cameras just about ready to roll on The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare_, is yet to see a release here (or in much of the world), but in that it’s not exactly typical Guy Ritchie fare, even with lashings of muscular action. Oh, and yes, his name actually is in the official title. Check out the trailer here:
No London. No geezers. No gangsters. No quips. No dodgy nicknames. The Gentlemen this most assuredly ain’t. Instead, Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant – initially titled The Interpreter – looks like a tense, emotionally-driven military thriller that’s more concerned with the effects of war than the FX of it all.
Written by the Wrath Of Man director alongside regular collaborators Ivan Atkinson and Marn Davies, the story here centres on Jake Gyllenhaal’s Army Sergeant John Kinley, who ends up being rescued by his interpreter (Dar Salim) when a tour in...

Jake Gyllenhaal is a soldier with a massive debt to pay in the new trailer for Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant. Gyllenhaal is certainly no stranger to intense movie roles, having starred in hard-hitting dramas like Nightcrawler, Rendition, Zodiac, Prisoners, Stronger and many more. Indeed, Gyllenhaal seems attracted to roles that require fierce emotional commitment, and involve characters who are placed in highly stressful situations.
It should be no surprise then to see Gyllenhaal back in the emotional meat grinder in the first trailer for his new movie The Covenant, a war drama from Sherlock Holmes director Ritchie (via MGM).
The trailer is certainly very intense as it sets up the story of Gyllenhaal’s character, a soldier suffering from amnesia who feels compelled to return to the battlefield for deeply personal reasons. Gyllenhaal indeed looks to be in fine form as he plays another of his complex characters, in...

Jake Gyllenhaal has unfinished business to resolve in the first trailer for director Guy Ritchie’s upcoming film The Covenant.
The MGM military thriller, hitting theaters April 21, stars Gyllenhaal as Army Sergeant John Kinley, who is rescued during a tour in Afghanistan by his interpreter, played by Dar Salim. The footage shows Kinley grappling with whether to put himself back in harm’s way to rescue Ahmed.
“If it wasn’t enough for him to carry me across those mountains, now he’s hiding in a hole somewhere,” Gyllenhaal’s character says somberly in the trailer. “I should be in that hole.”
He later adds, “Ahmed and his family are in trouble. I am gonna have to get him out myself.”
The cast also includes Alexander Ludwig, Antony Starr, Jason Wong, Bobby Schofield, Sean Sagar, Sina Parvaneh, Emily Beecham, Cyrus Khodaveisi and Christian Ochoa.
