It seems unashamed nerds are the best fits for Superman. Following in the flight path of Warhammer enthusiast Henry Cavill, who had so much love for that property, he's been hard at work making a live-action TV series for Amazon, David Corenswet has proven on a number of occasions he's as dorky as the rest of us when it comes to his love for "Star Wars" and other big franchises, including James Bond. A personal fave for the current Man of Steel is Daniel Craig's 2006 "Casino Royale," which is arguably the best film in the franchise and which Corenswet has a fascinating theory about regarding the film's pre-title sequence that shows how James became a double-o.While there are many beloved moments in Craig's career as Bond, Corenswet pointed to a pivotal one in an interview with the Royal Court: The opening of the movie, which sees Bond catching...

Now that Superman star David Corenswet has officially ascended to blockbuster status, fans are getting a closer look at what makes the actor tick. As it turns out, he’s not just a Star Wars fan — he’s a serious one.
In a recent episode of Royal Court with Brittany Broski, Corenswet broke down his preferred viewing order for the Skywalker Saga, and it would make even the most passionate armchair Jedi raise an eyebrow.
Corenswet’s chosen sequence? IV, V, I, II, III, VI.
That’s right, he kicks things off with A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back, preserves the original trilogy’s most iconic twist (“I am your father”), and then dives into the prequels as a kind of tragic flashback before ending with Return of the Jedi.

The Superman star recently appeared on Brittany Broski's Royal Courton YouTube, for a wide-ranging discussion that touched on all manner of pop culture and personal subjects.
In an outtake shared on the Brittany Broski's Royal Court X account, Corenswet waxes lyrical about the black-and-white opening sequence to Casino Royale, which serves as Daniel Craig's introduction. He labels it as the "greatest Bond film ever made", and it often ranks as one of the best James Bond movies in fan polls and industry lists.

David Corenswet just replaced Henry Cavill to become the newest iteration of Superman in his debut titular film — a wildly different version of the character, but a remarkable replacement to carry on the mantle nonetheless. But while the similarities in the physical appearance of the two are one thing, it’s not the only thing binding them together.
Turns out, the two actors also share one other massive trait: Being obsessed with the franchises they love. As fans already know about the old Man of Steel, he might have the looks of a jock, but when it comes to sagas that he is a fan of, it doesn’t take long for Cavill to become a nerd. Like how he gets when the topic comes down to franchises like The Witcher and Warhammer.

“Superman” may have already hit theaters, but that doesn’t mean David Corenswet is done having fun.
The actor, who portrayed the Man of Steel in James Gunn’s “Superman,” appeared on Brittany Broski’s “Royal Court” Monday to talk about acting, comedy and “Star Wars.” The delirious 25-minute interview shows Corenswet in goofy and exuberant form, arriving in a regal getup, complete with a sword on his back. And when things got a little too wild and Broski assured the actor they could cut that part, Corenswet laughed and said to leave it in because “Superman” is already in theaters so “it doesn’t even matter.”
“That was the most fun,” the “Superman” star said on X. “Now release my 10 minute hot take on Casino Royale, you cowards. Or I shall write to Lady Brittany personally!”

At YouTube Brandcast on Wednesday night, the finale of a three-day blitz of upfront presentations in New York, Lady Gaga achieved the rarest of things: a standing ovation and screams of enthusiasm from a crowd of advertisers.
The pop star’s scorching 20-minute set closed things on a high note and received the opposite of the usually jaded reactions, but the event had already been a substantive one before she stepped onstage. The 20th anniversary of YouTube earlier this year served as the framework for the presentation, with appearances and remarks reflecting the milestone.
“In just two decades, YouTube has reshaped how we watch entertainment,” CEO Neil Mohan said. Live events, from concerts to sports to many other kinds, have come to be one of YouTube’s foundational elements as technology improvements have enabled more seamless livestreams. “We want to bring more of these moments to fans everywhere,” Mohan said.

YouTube went onstage with big stars and big stats at its annual Brandcast, which for the fourth year running took place during the TV-focused Upfronts in New York City. The internet’s largest video site already dropped some numbers at last week’s digital-focused NewFronts, where it talked up its ad formats and performance stats to the media and marketing execs who are expected to spend over $10 billion this year to reach consumers online.
At the Upfronts? It swung big with Nielsen data showing that not only is it the #1 streaming service in the U.S. by watch time (and has been for the past 2+ years), it’s also been the #1 most-watched distributor of content across broadcast, cable, and streaming in the U.S. since February 2025.
And this, it tells brands and marketers, is a significant deal, because as of Q1 2025, TV is the primary device U.S. viewers use to watch YouTube.

YouTube is going back to the Upfronts.
For the fourth year in a row, it’s hosting its annual advertiser-bait event, Brandcast, during the TV-focused spring Upfronts. It used to, like most digital platforms, present to marketers during the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s digital-focused NewFronts, but in 2022, it went all-in on a bid for TV dollars and moved to the Upfronts.
The move was a surprise when it happened–but now we expect to see YouTube at the Upfronts, especially considering the two key points of messaging it’s pushed since its last Brandcast:
YouTube has been the #1 most-watched streaming service on TVs in the United States for two years (per Nielsen) Living room TV watch time has surpassed mobile and desktop viewing, making TVs the most frequent destination for YouTube viewers
CEO Neal Mohan has mentioned these stats at every opportunity, pitching YouTube as not only the top destination...

The YouTube invitation-only upfront presentation will be held Wednesday, May 14, starting at 5:30 p.m. Et at Lincoln Center in New York City. The video giant is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, as it has grown from a viral-video upstart to a major media player competing for ad spending against the biggest traditional TV networks. Indeed, YouTube is the biggest thing on TV these days: This week, Nielsen announced YouTube was the No. 1 media distributor for the month of February 2025, ahead of Disney and other media companies, ranked by aggregate U.S. viewing on TVs.

Throughout his omnipresent, warmly received press tour for the Bob Dylan biopic “A Complete Unknown,” Timothée Chalamet has leaned into his digital fluency and youthful charm. As the rare matinee idol under 30, Chalamet has the rare ability to riff with the likes of Theo Von or Brittany Broski — modern media moguls who command a large Gen Z audience via TikTok and YouTube — without seeming like a try-hard. Whether dropping in on his own lookalike contest in downtown Manhattan or hanging out with the marching band at the University of Minnesota, Dylan’s home state, Chalamet has shown off his sense of humor and slightly bro-y bonhomie, throwing himself into a “Saturday Night Live” hosting stint and chatting college football like any co-ed who spends his weekends glued to ESPN. This is a man so in tune with the zeitgeist he’s dating Kylie Jenner, one of the only celebrities who...

Timothée Chalamet opened up about how playing Bob Dylan in “A Complete Unknown” influenced his own experience with fame and activism, saying that he learned from the folk legend to “be wary of any savior-like figures.”
During a packed press conference at Berlin Film Festival on Friday, Chalamet was asked about how Dylan — who penned several iconic protest songs — has influenced his view on political issues like war and the rise of the far-right. Though the moderator redirected the question to the film as “opposed to a personal political point of view,” Chalamet said: “I don’t think that’s necessarily a political question.”
He continued, “I think it’s in the nature of his music, the warnings against cult-like figures. And I think that Bob was very true to — I won’t speak for him because he’s alive and well in Malibu — but my interpretation is just be...

How Did Fans React To Timothee Chalamet’s E-Bike Stunt At A Complete Unknown Premiere? (Photo Credit – Instagram/Facebook)
Timothee Chalamet made headlines with his unique entrance at the London premiere of his new film, A Complete Unknown, a biopic about Bob Dylan. Instead of arriving in a traditional limousine, Chalamet chose to roll up on a rented Lime E-bike, dressed in a sharp suit. The move turned heads as he casually ended the bike ride on his phone and carried the bike with him for the rest of the event.

Timothée Chalamet is really embracing Bob Dylan's rebellious nature for the A Complete Unknown press tour, as he just got fined at the film's London premiere. Chalamet portrays the renowned musician, cultural icon, and environmentalist in James Mangold's latest music-based biopic, A Complete Unknown (Mangold previously told Johnny Cash's life story in Walk the Line). The actor appeared at the London premiere on a rental bicycle, which the fans in attendance loved. But, he was then punished for the bizarre and hilarious stunt, although, not for the reason you might think.
After hiring a Lime bike and riding it across the red carpet at the premiere, Timothée Chalamet received a fine from the bike company. The actor was charged £65 ($80) after the event for incorrectly parking the bike. Lime has designated parking zones for the bikes once riders are finished using them. Brittany Broski genuinely doesn’t care if you don’t like her because she knows her worth.
The content creator, who has amassed more than 7.5 million followers on TikTok and 2.4 million subscribers on YouTube, built an entire brand online after going viral in 2019 for a video of her trying kombucha for the first time. Now, five years later, Broski has interviewed celebrities on numerous red carpets, featured iconic guests on her medieval-themed talk show Royal Court (namely Daisy Edgar-Jones, Cole Sprouse and Charli Xcx) and topped podcast charts with The Broski Report, in addition to her day-to-day content.
And she’s nowhere near done with her goals of expanding her presence across social media and establishing Royal Court as an “absolutely necessary press stop for anyone promoting anything,” similar to late-night talk shows.
“The beauty of the show is through all that ridiculousness, you get to actually relax and be yourself.

Cody Ko is facing renewed allegations of statutory rape after YouTuber D’Angelo Wallace posted a 15-minute video about Tana Mongeau‘s claim that she had sex with Ko when he was 25 and she was 17.
Wallace’s video, called An uncomfortable conversation about Cody Ko, stems from May 30, when Mongeau was live-recording an episode of her podcast Cancelled in front of an audience. When asked a question about sexual partners, she mentioned Ko, then said, “I was literally 17.”
Later in the episode, which was released June 21, she adds, “This isn’t just some crazy tea. I hooked up with Cody Ko when I was 17 and he was 25. At 25 now […] I would never do anything like that, so I’m like, ‘What the fuck was wrong with you’?”
Mongeau says the incident happened at Playlist Live, and that fellow YouTuber Gabbie Hanna warned Ko that Mongeau was underage. He allegedly was not deterred.

In their recap of the episode, both Trixie and Maddy gave Q grace for her emotional reaction to being safe yet again because they see her as someone so very close to a win that they can understand the sting of not getting it. When it comes to Plane Jane‘s villain edit, Trixie can appreciate that Jane shouldn’t “punch down” in her comments on Amanda Tori Meating‘s drag, but at the end of the day it’s making good cat fights that we haven’t seen on the show in a while.

Watch the full episode above via the official RuPaul’s Drag Race channel on YouTube.
In their recap of the episode, Kahmora spoke about her experience being the first queen to leave on her season and as a guest on the recap series was able to use that to inform her lens on how the queens are approaching the competition from this early in the season. When it came to this live, one-take challenge both Kahmora and Trixie think that the pressure of only having one take actually is a benefit for the queens because they have no opportunity to get in their head with their inner saboteur.

Each week on “The Pit Stop,” Trixie Mattel recaps the latest episode of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” season 16 alongside a guest host. Following Friday’s third episode, the winner of season 1 and “All Stars” season 3 finalist BeBe Zahara Benet sat down to examine how the new crop of queens are doing, but BeBe warned that “there are no excuses” for any of the queens not being prepared. Watch the full episode above via the official RuPaul’s Drag Race channel on YouTube.
In their recap of the episode, Trixie and BeBe informed us how close they were when they appeared on “All Stars” together, bonding over just enjoying that they were there instead of focusing on the competition like everyone else. When it comes to the twists of this season, BeBe said that the rating system “creates a lot of animosity” and she would not want to have to do that because it’s “so traumatizing.

Each week on “The Pit Stop,” Trixie Mattel recaps the latest episode of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” season 16 alongside a guest host. Following Friday’s second episode, YouTube personality and Trixie’s friend of 17 years Brittany Broski sat down to celebrate their love of drag by critiquing the seven queens that introduced themselves to the world this week. Watch the full episode above via the official RuPaul’s Drag Race channel on YouTube.
In their recap of the episode, Trixie and Brittany liked Geneva Karr‘s entrance look, but were confused over whether her name is intended to be a pun or not and appreciated her pride in being a leg hair artist on the internet. When it came to the divisive Plane Jane, they both lived for her first impression look and think that only someone that looks that good could come in guns blazing. The queen they did not live for is Megami.

Exclusive: One of the longest business partnerships in Hollywood is coming to an end. Lisa Kasteler will be retiring from Wolf Kasteler after steering the agency alongside founder Annett Wolf into a PR powerhouse for the past 32 years.
Kasteler will be leaving at the end of the month, winding down a 50-year career in PR, to become Executive Director of the Matthew Perry Foundation. Perry was a client of Kasteler — and the Wolf Kasteler agency — for 28 years until his sudden death Oct. 28 at the age of 54.
Before his passing, Perry had planned to start a foundation to help others overcome drug and alcohol abuse, which he had hoped to be his legacy. His friends and loved ones are now carrying on that legacy with the recently launched Matthew Perry Foundation, which is committed to identifying addiction as a disease, addressing stigmas that prevent individuals from seeking and accessing care, and...

Sports and music representation powerhouse Wasserman has finalized its acquisition of Brillstein Entertainment Partners, the venerable Hollywood management and production company. Terms were not disclosed. Deadline exclusively revealed the acquisition talks back in February.
Wasserman chairman and CEO Casey Wasserman and Brillstein co-CEOs Cynthia Pett and Jon Liebman made the announcement. It puts Wasserman, grandson of the iconic Hollywood representative and studio chief Lew Wasserman, directly into the film and TV representation and production game for the first time. It is the second strategic alignment for Wasserman, who took over the lucrative music touring business that was once the most profitable part of the Paradigm agency, at a time when the pandemic grounded live touring revenues.
It would be the latest move in management after 3Arts made a deal with Lionsgate, and Range Media Partners linked with Automatik.
Wasserman, Pett and Liebman believe their cultures will mesh in their compatible business and staffs.
