At the end of September, JoBlo Media and Octane Multimedia teamed up to launch a new YouTube channel named JoBlo TV, which hosts multiple feature films to watch for free throughout the week. The genres we’ll be focusing on at JoBlo TV are Action, Horror, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Thrillers – and the free movies we shared this week really delivered the thrills!

This week’s line-up consisted of the sci-fi thriller Loophole, the crime thriller The Beast, and the sci-fi horror film Interpreters. Here’s some information on each of them:

On the JoBlo Movies YouTube channel, we will be posting one full movie every day of the week, giving viewers the chance to watch them entirely free of charge. The Free Movie of the Day we have for you today is the 2019 sci-fi thriller Interpreters, which is also known by the longer title Interpreters: a C & Earth Chronicle – quantum 1. 2020: Doomsday sets the right tone from the first second we’re exposed to grainy, Super8 style footage that can’t help but be eerie as Hell. Whatever we’re forced to watch, with the adults and children with their faces whited out and the strange jerky motion, you get the feeling we’re about to watch something like The Strangers meets a very well done Creepypasta. Unfortunately, it isn’t very good.

The film is a blend of horror and comedy as seen in the film’s brand new, first, full length trailer. First Clip from Alice D: “In the late 1890s the Davenport House was a famous and successful brothel, until a young prostitute named Alice killed herself there. After her death, the brothel became haunted by Alice’s ghost, and was eventually abandoned.

More than a century later, the old structure is renovated into a beautiful mansion. It is still rumored to inhabit the ghost of Alice. Despite this, the new owner; the rich and arrogant heir to the Davenport fortune, decides to throw a wild party for his first night in the house.

A Sin That Cannot Be Forgiven is a Probell Films production written, directed, produced, and edited by Maureen “Mo” Whelan. Starring Andy Gates who’s recent appearances include Grimm, Got Home Alive, Hostage Do or Die, The Young and the Restless and Gemini Rising. Music composed by Alon Kaplan.

Some early details are emerging from space on the new sci-fi film Gemini Rising. Lance Henricksen will star and this feature is about discovery, as a Nasa crew find alien technology on an abandoned ship. Shooting has already taken place for this production and Gemini Rising will release late in 2011. So, prepare to see something out of this world, with more cast and crew details on this film below.

A 12 minute Vampire short titled The Suburban Count is scheduled to be screened at The Bungalow Club in Hollywood on April 4th 2011 at 9:30pm. Below is a short teaser for the film as well as the official release.

The Suburban Count is a Probell Films production, written, directed and produced by Maureen “Mo” Whelan. Starring Ozzie Carnan, Andy Gates, Chris Andrews, Marjorie DeHey Daleo, Yvonne Lavallee and Benny the dog.

The Suburban Count is a 12 minute short film about a vampire count that is forced to live in a single bedroom apartment with his two lazy vampire friends, after his castle is foreclosed on. He tries to sustain respect as a count while his friends sit around playing video games and partying all day to annoy him.
