The newest Stephen King adaptation is The Institute, a new series based on King's 2019 novel of the same name. Set to debut on MGM+ on July 13, the series features Ben Barnes in one of the main roles.

Ahead of the show's debut, Barnes discussed The Institute in a new interview with RadioTimes. In the series, Barnes plays the role of Tim Jamieson, a former cop who arrives in town as the new "night knocker," looking to start the next chapter in his life. Meanwhile, he is not yet aware of the strange happenings at a nearby facility that houses young people with telepathic or telekinetic abilities.
